    Dorell Wright from the Warriors.

    Link

He had bust written all over him. But I guess Hubie Brown was right when he said sometimes players are drafted by the wrong team.
Wright is a prime example of what I want to talk about. I wonder why many great coaches known for their defense have such a hard time developing players. Coaches like Larry Brown, JVG, Phil Jackson. Yet inexperience coaches have no problem developing talent. I find it weird.

Anyways, I have him and Aaron Affolo, fighting for the most improve award.

Not a massive statistical jump, but he's made huge strides in his game. He's going to be one of the premier scorers in the league this season.

5 games is definitely a small sample size, but he's playing at an elite level. He's averaging 5 more PPG, limiting his TOs while upping his APG, and he's shooting close to 87% from the stripe. Plus, he's been red hot from downtown. I know, he's only played 5 games, but he's been thrashing opposing defenses, and I think he's destined for a very, very big season.

He'll breakout in a different way. He won't emerge from the shadows, but he'll go from a fringe All-Star to All-NBA. Mark it down.

Ben Gordon is back playing good.

    Jeff Green

Yes Dorrell Wright though is the man so far this season. He hit 7 3's tonight.

I don't know if I would say Dorell Wright is having a breakout season. He averaged about 6ppg in Miami. That's pretty much the same as averaging 20ppg for the Warriors.
