Anyone know where the best place to shop for furniture in Houston is? Gallery is surprisingly pretty pricey.

Try furniture direct on Bellaire and Dairy Ashford. It's owned by an Asian so haggling is allowed.

I have always had great success at Fingers Warehouse on I-45 South at Scott St., but drummer are you looking for something a little less expensive?

If you are I would cruise down Harwin.

I just saw a place in Katy Mills near the Bass Pro Shop that had some really nice furniture. They had a leather loveseat/sofa set that was priced around 800.00+. It appeared, to me at least, to be pretty high quality.

Alot of people think Gallery Furniture is overpriced, but we got a good deal on our living room set.

$800 for a long and short sofa. Good quality too.

There is also a place over on 290 called Red Barn. Pretty inexpensive.

Where can I get the world's biggest, most comfortable, and greatest bean bag... in Houston?

Something that won't go flat in a few months (I saw stuff for poof or foof bags online once, but I didn't buy it b/c shipping was extraordinarily high... but the product was awesome!)

There used to be a cool place across from Willowbrook Mall, where the AMC theater is... a small furniture store, that had the world's greatest bean bags for $300. I kept meaning to buy one, but I didn't have room in my Mustang to haul it home.

Now they're out of business and I'm SOL.

    Any suggestions?

Furniture Clearance Center on I-45 South right before you get to Clear Lake City. It's the Finger's outlet store (but they don't advertise it as such).
