Anybody know of any decent indoor basketball courts in or around the Memorial area? I'm looking to start playing again and I'm sick of using dirty, neglected outdoor courts. Any help is appreciated.
Go to school, join a YMCA, or get a gym membership. Quality indoor gyms that are free and not overrun by hoodlums are a myth.
LA Fitness has nice indoor courts. My goal in life is to have an indoor basketball court in my house.
I used to play ball over at Tallowood Baptist Church a few years ago. I dont know about now, but it was free with some pretty good competition.
Tallowood is/was a joke. The time I spent at Texas A&M playing at the rec. That was awesome. Really good basketball memories. Now I play at 24hr off Dairy Ashford/Westheimer. Solid place. Best I have seen in Houston for strong (but not ridiculous) competition. During the Summer the AAU kids come out. They blow me out of the water. Just not in the kind of shape to even compete with those guys. They are trying to dunk on me, I have to foul em hard... Make sure I don't wind up on any posters.
