What's the solution? I would say carve out some piece of land somewhere for these Islamic militants. Then whoever wants to live by those stict ass laws can go voluntarily over there. Women who want to be dressed from head to toe, men who want to order their women around, mullahs who want to just pray all day long and not watch tv or anything would have a blast.

But I'm afraid that even then these dumb asses would not be satisfied.

It's the year 2006 & these brainwashed murderin' morons are still at it! I like to see someone defend these evil acts claiming them in the name of GOD! Someone needs to be accountable for these sensless acts! These are civilians who's only crime in this country is that they believe in a different religion! Or maybe non at all! Friggin' UNbelievable!!!

 

That would be a ridiculous idea. Yeah, they have bombed and killed us enough, let's give in to them and give them their own country.

The solution IMO is to exterminate them. Is this possible? Not by a long shot. But an effort has to be made to get rid of as many as possible in order to weaken the base of support that these young Islamic militants turn to. Without guidance from those with authority (those organizing the attacks, preaching the message etc) these ignorant young Islamic dissenters will have far reduced ways of carrying through with actions such as bombings.

My idea was tongue in cheek, but at the same time if it helps make the world a better place then I am all for it.

The solution is to exterminate. But to exterminate what? I don't think its possible to exterminate terrorist themselves. No matter how many we get rid of their will always be more. In fact I think its almost counterproductive.

We are making more enemies worldwide with our war on Iraq.

The solution is to exterminate the jihadist ideology. How do we do that? Education. If we spent all that money on education this world would be a better place.

Private and government investment in the education systems of Middle East, Asia and Africa would do wonders for this world.

 

Its hard to exterminate them when you can't even play loud rap music to get information out of them.

 

1. I agree that it is impossible to exterminate terrorists, but certainly we can limit their influence and halt their actions by targeting their leaders and organizers and taking them out. It would throw them into disarray.

2. I ENTIRELY agree about more education needed. I think that is the ONLY solution to getting rid of this ideology. But if we just throw money at education systems already in place in the Middle East, Asia and Africa the money would, in all likelihood, never reach the children needed to be educated. Would you think that a child educated in the state run education system of Iran would be more or less apt to be a terrorist. It's hard to say, unfortunately. The same with Syria, Palestine, etc. In these countries, there is no private education to fund. What is needed is cooperation between the governments of Muslim countries and the realization of these governments that dissent against western cultures and ideals (which leads to terrorism) is counterproductive. A dialogue or argument against western cultures and ideals would be beneficial, as this would provide students with a view point that they can analyze and accept or reject. But, this will only occur if there is cooperation and a realization that anti-westernism is not beneficial.
