Don't know if anyone else saw the awards ceremony last night with George Lucas. Harrison Ford was there and basically said he was in for Indiana Jones 4 (the crowd cheered). Read some more stuff online yesterday that basically said that as soon as GL and Spielberg finish up work on an existing project, that they will be finishing up the script. Also heard a rumor that Tom Hanks was briefly being considered as Ford's heir apparent in the series. Any speculation on what the plot will be? I've heard he will be searching for Atlantis. How about: Indiana Jones and the search for WMDs? ..j/k anyway ..im excited .....the Last Crusade was the best in the series and Ive been dying for more ever since
btw ..... Rick McCallum, one GL's Star Wars producers, has allegedly confirmed that there will be a Star Wars TV Series slated to start some time in 2006 and that the TV series will be 100 hour long episodes detailing the 20 years between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope.
64 he was 49 when they did the Last Crusade he can pull it off ..not a doubt in my mind makeup does wonders =)
I think his mid 60s. One of the rumors I've been hearing about the plot is that he might have an illegitimate child that will show up. After all Indiana is quite the ladies man.
Funny thing is, Harrison Ford really needs an Indiana Jones film. Badly. When's the last time he made anything worth watching? (Hint: I have no f***ing idea.) Anyone who says "K19: The Widowmaker" or "Random Hearts" better have an ironic smile working.
64 is really pushing it as far as action scenes go. Maybe his son can take up some of the slack in that area, and Harrison will be more like Sean Connery was in Last Crusade. I wonder who could pull off a young Indiana Jones? A Ewan Mcgregor or Matt Damon maybe. Whoever it is it should be interesting.
I agree. He had a string of good movies in the early to mid nineties, then has not really made anything all that good in the last 5-7 years. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000148/ Harrison Ford Actor - filmography (In Production) (2000s) (1990s) (1980s) (1970s) (1960s) Indiana Jones 4 (2006) (announced) .... Awhile back I heard Kevin Costner would play his brother in Indy 4...that would suck the balls! Brad Pitt should take over as the illegit. kid...they look a bit a like
I doubt he ever did his own action scenes back in the 80s anyway, so that shouldn't matter. I don't see McGregor or Damon pulling off that role. I can definitely see Hanks pulling it off, or maybe J. Phoenix.
Let's not forget "Hollywood Homicide". His last big movie was "What Lies Beneath" which was released in 2000. It grossed 288 million world wide. Since then he's done absolutely nothing.
I've scored an exclusive photo from the upcoming Indiana Jones 4 movie, titled "Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis": Special effects need some major work, but you get the idea...
I love the Indiana Jones moives, but if they try to pan off a young good looking actor as Indiana later down the road I'll be pissed, the only person on that list I could see doing it well would be Tom Hanks and even then he's getting kinda old too.. I dont think we have to worry about Harrison Ford looking too old in the movie, he looks better than any 64 year old I've ever seen...plus he did drink from the cup in the Last Crusade so he'll still look good... I also hear Stevens wife Kate will be coming back for number 4 (she was the blonde in Temple of Doom)
Oh god no..... I HATED Kate Capshaw in TOD she was so irritating. I dont see any reason why Ford cant pull off one more Indy movie...and Ill be looking forward to it... one of my alltime favorite series of movies. after doing STar Wars and the Indy movies...HArrison Ford could screwup the rest of his life and I would still not cuss him... btw...agree with AT...Im not much of one for those type of movies...but I thought What Lies Beneath was a pretty good movie.
I was just thinking that a Jennifer Garner...styled more like 13/30 and less like Alias. Set in the fifties...that would RULE! Other interesting sons would be Ben Affleck (I know everyone heates him but he would be good in that role) Tom Welling Leo DiCaprio
