4:00 PM Tommy(1975) 6:00 PM Straight Story, The(1999) 8:00 PM Dead Man(1995) 10:15 PM Glengarry Glen Ross(1992) 12:00 AM Dead Man(1995) 2:15 AM Wild Man Blues(1998) I'm staying home for the rest of the day and watching these indy flicks.The only one I haven't seen is Jarmusch's "Dead Man", the B&W western starring Johnny Depp. The Straight Story is David Lynch's (straight) Disney movie about an old man on the road on a riding lawn mower, he travels cross-country to see his dying brother. beautiful music and slow paced, it is a slice of Americana.(based on a true story) Glengarry Glen Ross. mamet. Always Be Closing. Wild Man Blues is Barbara Kopple's documentary following Woody Allen's Dixieland jazz band. Allen is an incredible clarinetist, and if you are a fan of his movies or a fan of good music in general, you ought to enjoy this one. IFCtv
