In retrospect, are Rockets's wins last week impressive?

It looked impressive to beat Miami, Indiana and Portland judging by their records. But looking back now, each of these teams were either starting or in the middle of a losing streak when the Rockets beat them. And then the Rockets went on to lose to OKC and is trailing in Chicago.

Did we take those wins too seriously?

Your shtick is so lame sometimes. I don't understand why you think you can always get off on this stuff.

I was thinking the same thing. THose teams were all in bad slumps, and still are to some degree. Did we just happen to catch them on bad breaks? We're being absolutely exposed these last two games

Winning at home is very different from winning on the road.

I just hope we don't get swept in the first round.

They were certainly impressive wins, but what's not so impressive is how quickly the Rockets have regressed.

Inconsistency has plagued the team all season, hopefully that will change before the playoffs but it's a really big concern right now.

Carl has always been a troll. He started here as a Van Gundy Lover. I thought perhaps he was related to him they way he loved him so much. Now I think he is just a closet lover JVG. He came out of the closet for PPat and now he just trolls. That being said the Rockets were not as good as their 15 - 2 run and or not as bad as they look now. They will play better and be better but they got to figure out what to do with Dwight. He needs touches but he has got to learn to pass more.

Inconsistency, I reckon... and lack of focus / intensity... it's the only explanation for our track record this whole season - beating the top teams, losing to bad ones.

In any case, I'm not bummed. I would have taken our current record any day of the week at the beginning of the season. Just have to hope we bring it every game when the playoff starts.

Does that mean if Miami beats us Sunday their win isn't impressive since we're in a funk/on a losing streak?

If we are starting a losing streak, was it impressive for OKC and Chicago to beat us? Will they take that win too seriously?

To some people, asking a legitimate question = trolling.

I think it is more about losing against OKC and CHI, than about the other teams slumping.

In retrospect, should Carl Herrera stop making a stupid pointless thread after each game?
