There have been many threads during the course of the year which spoke directly about (Play Boki at the Point... one of mine!) the need for Boki and Padget to get more playing time.

I think that if Padget and Boki get major minutes vs LA... we will have a chance to win. They are both high energy, low mistake, good shooting guys. I love watching them play and I think that the get the crowd involved and their teammates with all of their hustle.

I would like to look up (can't find the link or thread) the statistical information if we could get it that shows the plus/minus when these guys are on the court. Someone posted a link a couple of days ago that said YAO was number one in the league in plus/minus. I wonder if we could find stats for Padget and Boki.

I would make an educated guess that they would have good numbers as well.

    Start Padget at the 4.
    Let Cato back up Yao.
And let Boki back up JJ (or let him play the point.

    GO ROCKETS!

they are great stats if they rack up lots of minutes and play consistenly.

But for players who don't play much but garbage time, this stat don't mean much.

In the playoffs, I think Boki's versatility will be used but Padget won't get much PT. Saying Padget should start or getting a lot of PT in the playoffs is borderline insanity.

If we are relying on hte end of our bench to pull us through, we are in deep trouble.

your only going to see a 7 man playoff rotation. Perhaps the 8th man gets a little playing time

My point is that these two guys belong in the rotation.

Kind of like Memphis? I think Boki and Padget need to get P.T. in the playoffs specially Boki because of the hustle he brings to the game.

Boki & Padge are good for 12 fouls. Possibly denying Shaq 12 pts.

We're nothing like Memphis. They have players on their bench who can play. We don't.

Teams shorten their rotations in the playoffs rather than expand them. Coaches want the best chemistry and experience out there. If we struggle though, we might be seeing some PT for guys like Pike and Boki.

Absolutely no way these guys get time. These people will definitely get time:

    Yao
    Cato
    JJ
    Mobley
    Francis
    Mark Jackson
    MoT

The rest will be given to one of these people, depending on who we're playing against (if we play more than one series):

    Spoon
    Padgett
    Boki

I don't think we'll see much of any of these guys, unless our guys are shooting poorly from 3-pt land, at which point we'll see some Padgett.

I think that Cato should sub for Yao, and let Mo T start. Spoon and Padgett can sub Mo.

JVG is notorius for going with 7-man rotations in the playoffs. He rarely even goes as deep as 8.

Yup all the playoff games i have seen he has done this causing the team to get tired as hell. he just doesn't trust others to play.

He has his set roster and goes with it. Hopefully the last two games the reserves showed they can play and deserve some time.
