I'm not too impressed with Brooks...I would keep Lowry over him. But I would prefer if they both stayed. (unless we got CP3)

Rumor has it, that he's more interested in trading T-Mac. ;)

    -Scola.
He may be old, but he is putting up 20/10 numbers. 20/9.8 to be exact, he is showing no signs of regression. Scolandry FTW!

As much as we like to give credit to DM as being one of the best GMs in the league, this is where he is going to prove it. He has done a phenomenal job of landing us talent late in various Drafts and acquiring guys overseas'. Basically, alot of low risk, high payoff moves. Most have payed off so far: Drafting AB and Carl late in the 2007 draft, trading for rights to Scola, trading away Rafer for Kyle, drafting Chase in 2009. Now he's got a major CHIP to deal with. This could really shape our team for years to come. W

IMHO it depends if we can get superstar players in return. CP3 and Bosh seem to be the only superstars available and I say we go after those guys with everything we've got.

I love Scola but I wouldnt mind trading him mostly because his age...Let him go for A.Randolph or Beasley and this team would be amazing in transition

Yes, the Rockets roster of Landy, Brooks, Scola, Budinger are a great group to build on. Don't trade them.

Can't we just let McGrady walk and wait for Von Wafer to get healthy then resign him?

Von Wafer, plus one good shot-blocking, rebounding big man.

If none are unavailable, let's just wait for the draft.

Its good that the players are not letting this Tmac drama business effect them in any way but if I was a player and I know now that Tmac will likely be traded in the next month, I would start worrying that I may be a part of the deal as well. We know for sure this is end of Tmac on the Rockets, but it may very well be the end of another one of our beloved players on Rockets as well.
