i'll have more on this tomorrow, hopefully, but in the interim, if there's any doubt as to why I'm voting McCain, it's summed up "nicely" here. read it. and weep.
Seriously? Because Palin had an autistic child? The only reason I weep is because our country is full of delusional morons like you. It wasn't difficult for her to get knocked up and it surely doesn't mean that she is qualified to be President. I can't believe I'm wasting my time during the Rockets game.
You're the one who's going to be weeping on tuesday, chump. America wins, basso loses. How wonderful.
The Palin Trig-ger Looking behind the hostility. By Kevin Burke Some of the very personal and often uncharitable criticism of vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin and her family may have a relationship to the collective grief, shame, and guilt from personal involvement in the abortion of an unborn child. Because abortion is usually a deeply repressed sensitive area of complicated grief, when a news story touches on abortion related issues, the common response is often one of the following: Avoidance. Reactive defensiveness, hyper sensitivity, and angry attacks to compensate for the emotional vulnerability this issue surfaces. Some will recognize in their troubled souls the need to reach out for healing and the hope of reconciliation and peace. People think Palin is a disaster because of the guilt behind their personal involvement in abortions. LOL This is one of the reasons people make fun of religious conservatives. It's just straight up looney to make these kinds of comments.
Abortions aren't funny. Saying people criticize Palin because of some guilt behind personal involvement in abortions is DAMN funny.
I'm saying it's totally stupid. It's nothing but a looney religious right attempt to deflect from the many Palin weaknesses that even prominent conservatives such as Kathleen Clark, Chris Buckley, Peggy Noonan, and Colin Powell have highlighted for us.
Do you accept Freudian principles? This "repression" smacks of it. Which is ironic, because Freud is probably a social Conservative's worst fear.
I figured any thread with "nut" in the title would be a good place to put this... Joe the skinhead calls out Obama <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/xw2Wczp9yOc&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/xw2Wczp9yOc&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
^^^ Just another example of the shameless garbage put out by the right this campaign. Good thing the American public isn't buying it for the third time in a row.
You have yet to address the thread which discussed Obama's explicit and well laid out plans to help special needs children. It was contrasted with the words but no specifics of the McCain/Palin campaign.

unfortunately it does. that and "who do i wanna have a beer with" face it. Most Americans are stupid.
Deserves its own thread imo Joe the plumber has fallen off the deep end. "Obama's ideology is completely different than what democracy stands for?" Wait what? What does that even mean?
