Well i think it might be important about our PG scenario, If i was CD ill take Brent Barry over Arroyo any day because of experience and we know he has Basketball smarts..But the big problem is Barrys contract hes not worth even half of what there offering..

But what i really want to talk about is Carlos Arroyo´s attitude, i use to live in Miami , Florida were Carlos spen 2 years in FIU florida international University, i remember playing ball with him in the gym there and also in parks. He is nasty in street courts, i remember the first time i saw him they told me who he was and i was like ?? this guy cant be that good he was about my height and was really skinny. But then i saw him playing and he was just nasty crossing people over like nothing and shooting threes from almost half court. One day i remember i was in a park in Miami and he came to talk to one of my boys, and we were shooting around and two big guys came to us and said they wanted the court to play ( in other words they were kicking us out) and they started making fun at Carlos and then they said thell play one of us one on one for it so i was laughing on the inside, cause i knew what was going to happen. These guys were talking so much trash before they played it was funny. Carlos got the ball and never looked back he dunked it like 7 times in a row and shot 2 twos , it was funny as hell.

But theres also a dark side to Arroyo, he is a misfit he got suspended for a whole season for punching the fiu coach in a game. And also he tends to hang around with the wrong crowd. I really was surprised that there has been no incidents in his first two years in the NBA, Maybe hes matured or changed, but i really dought it,

So in my opinion go with the safe bet Brent Barry...

wow, important info? Anyways, I don't think you should start another PG thread. I'm sure most of us here got tired of it after a while.

With that aside, i think Brent Barry is the better choice if we want instant result. After the contract, he's going to be in his late 30's... However, there are A LOT of people that age who are still contributing to their teams. BB's game doesn't require much athelism....ala.. Stevie Franchise. BB's game is about his shooting touch. 2nd in 3PT % isn't something we should overlook.

Arroyo? Young! We already have that in Lue

    I enjoy the reading, thank.

I am here to input something on my own about T-Mac. There was a player on the Orlando Magic last season whom I personally know. He played 4 years of college here in my state and won numerous NCAA games. He played Duke, Kentucky and many big time schools. Four of his teammates are NBA players (two of them are starters and quasi-allstars).

One day we had a chat about the Orlando Magic, and he said talent wise, T-Mac is THE most amazing player he's ever seen. His athleticism and skills were beyond anything he's known prior to the NBA. However, personality wise, T-Mac is one of the biggest idiots he's ever known. He can't talk to the reporters with intelligent remarks, and he's a pure jerk in the locker room. Wherever the Magic plays, the all T-Mac does at night is to get strippers into his hotel room and let them leave in the morning.

I am not sure if you really care about these things. I just want to share alittle bit after you talked about Arroyo. If I tarnished the image of your hero, I am sorry. You know, this kinds of off-court things are very common among NBA players. We just either don't know or choose not to know them. They are no saints in their personal lives. As long as they are awesome on the court, they will always be the heroes to their fans.

Sorry, I can't put his name up there. I didn't get his permission to do that. So, I'd have to keep it anonymous. You can choose to believe or not to believe, not that what I said matters on the basketball court anyway.

Well, the first question is how many of you would hire strippers to stay the night?

I'm guessing Tmac gets the best strippers in Orlando so maybe they're worthy of a full night's stay

You didn't say HIRE before. Now there's a big difference between having strippers over all night and HIRING strippers. The difference being they went from being groupies to being prostitutes. That's a whole different situation.

And I wouldn't just have one stripper a night, I'd have at least two. Five or six on special occasions. :D
