I am seriously considering making the trip to Portland on Friday to see the Rockets get blown out by- I mean take on the Blazers! There is only ONE reason I want to go. Hakeem. If this ends up being his last season, this will be my final chance to see him play. Going to see the game will be pointless if he doesn't play, so: Is there any word on Hakeem's health? Will he play on Friday? I have to order the tickets today, so I need to know. Does anyone have any good info on his health? Will he play?

I don't know if he'll play, but I think he was out of the Denver game because it was the tail end of a back to back and they didn't want to push him. I would think he would play Friday. JUST GO! Knowing the Rockets, they'll probably shock us all and kill Portland by 50.

True. Last season, when they were mathematically out, they destroyed Portland by 13 on 62 percent shooting.

    Olajuwon out

With games that could become his last few with the Rockets slipping away, center Hakeem Olajuwon was forced to miss Tuesday's game with a sprained left foot.

Olajuwon has been struggling with the injury since last Thursday, but has been able to play, scoring 26 points against Atlanta on Saturday. But he left Monday's game after just 21 minutes, scoring six points and taking just two shots.

Olajuwon underwent treatment on Tuesday and will again today and Thursday with an eye toward playing in the road back-to-back Friday and Saturday at Portland and Vancouver.

"It's nothing major," Olajuwon said. "There has been pain, we ice it, and tape it. But it's worse. I could play on it like I did (Monday). But that would not be the smart way, not a good decision.

"It would be different if I had to play. Now, I can get treatment and get it taken care of and play the last couple of games instead of forcing it."

Olajuwon said he hoped to be able to play on the road trip, especially after he was told that Saturday's game could be the last NBA game ever played in Vancouver.

"That would be nice," he said. "But it's most important to take care of this. Right now, if I had to, I could play, but it would swell up worse."

Rockets forward Walt Williams missed his thirdconsecutive game with a sprained left ankle and is listed as questionable for Friday.

Looks like a gametime decision to me.

You should go, maybe Lanky will attempt another thunder dunk on Wallace.

go ZRB, the chance to be in Dream's presence is worth the risk.

Damn game is sold out. I still have a chance to get some tickets though. This entertainment company sells unwanted season tickets. Hopefully I'll be able to land some tix that way.
If that fails, then I will still go to Portland, and try to get some tickets from a scalper. If that fails, then I'll just put on my Hakeem jersey and casually stroll in at the players entrance.

Ticketmaster has some "preffered seating" tickets left. I'm not sure if you want to spend over $100 on them, though.

Well fan-****ing-tastic. Hakeem will miss tomorrow's game against Portland. I just got through ordering the tickets, and now this bit of wonderful news. Great. Now I get to enjoy 48 minutes of Cato and Carlos. I couldn't be more depressed.

Rudy said on his show that Dream wasn't even making the trip, and that it was no better than 50/50 that he would play in the Twolves game [IMG]

Alright, now they have to win for me to be satisfied. If Hakeem had been playing, I wouldn't have minded a loss as much. Since he isn't, they MUST WIN! Alright guys, send all your good vibes to Portland. Last year at this time they arrived at the Rose Garden and shot 62 percent in the Rockets' 13 point win. Well, with Hakeem and Mo out, this current team is identical to that team of last year. Send your vibes and lets hope for a nice upset. A spoiler we will be! Portland played last night, while the Rockets had two days rest. That should make for a good performance. Alright, I'm off to Portland then!
    Rockets: 115
    Blazers 110

Defense? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaaa!

I can't wait to boo Pippen!

Actually, if you think about it, the odds really should be in favor of the Rockets. You would think with all the players they have they should easily be favorites, but they really aren't that far ahead of us in the standings. Plus, theyre on the end of a back to back while we're rested. Not to mention the 50/50 chance of Rasheed being ejected by halftime after Franchise and Langhi posterize him a couple of times [IMG]. So, even though I don't like making predictions for single games I go ahead and do so:

    Rockets 107
    Blazers 95

Cato: 8 pts, 10+ RB, 5+ BK (he will actually play w/ some emotion against his old team)
