I generally like that Ime is a straight shooter and doesn't sugar coat it, but I feel like he is a bit harsh on Reed. Reed clearly needs to get his confidence built up, but all Ime has to say is basically that he sucked on defense and hasn't improved. Whether true or not, I don't think that was necessary. I guess he was still too pissed.

We "just can't" fall off a cliff when our starting C, PF and PG are out Ime? Come on. Who withstands that normally?

We'll take this loss and learn from it but no drama.

Against a good team, sure. Struggling to score is understandable. But at home vs the Nets who are even more shorthanded? There's no excuse for that.

Yeah but the Nets are like a flat circle. 15th man is nearly as good as the 3rd man.

straight shooter style just like mchale, and also just like milkhair has zero self awareness about his own mistakes and flaws. and just like milkhair has surrounded himself with useless yes men who lack the balls to tell him his offensive system is a 5th grade level joke and his rotation decisions not much better

He was asked a question and he gave an honest answer. What’s unnecessary is some unknowledgeable Rockets “fans” continuing to trash our players.

I guess a lot of good teams either struggled or didn't show up tonight. The Magic lost at Utah. Minnesota lost at home to the Wizards. The Knicks fell to the AD-less Lakers. And Phoenix is down 15 at the half at Portland.

Hell, even Denver barely survived against the Hornets, winning by only 3.

There was no intensity from the getgo. The defense was playing off the 3 pt line and very
loose. No urgency. Same thing happened 2 nights ago in Memphis. Tonight they played disinterested ball until late in the 4th.

Ime called 2 timeouts in that first quarter because he didn’t like what he saw in terms of effort. Whole team lacked effort besides Jalen, Adams, and maybe Eason.

They're a young team and started to believe their own hype. Even in that Atlanta game, they were lackadaisical for most of it. They just got away with it because the Hawks were equally exhausted.

They do respond well to bad losses, so we'll see what happens in NY. Of course, the Knicks are gonna be just as mad at themselves for losing to the Lakers sans Davis.

I hope both Alpi and Fred will be back for the Knicks game.

Coaching had nothing to do with tonight’s loss. The team simply lacked energy and effort

1st of all it’s the coach’s job to motivate the players and prepare them for the game. secondly in general this team has no system on offense whatsoever hence the scoring droughts every single game not just this one

Ime is visibly upset that Reed Sheppard played well when given minutes....that he dramatically outplayed guys like Holiday who Ime was dumb enough to give Sheppard's minutes to.

    Poor guy.

Start Reed Sheppard, Play Center NFaly Dante off the bench.

NFaly Dante can provide 3 blocks 10 Rebounds, Alley Oop Dunking Threat with Jalen Green and Amen Thompson as passers.

Reed Sheppard as a Zone Buster shooting 3s off of pucks by Steven Adams must be drawn up more.
