“Hard to win when you give up 67 in the first half, play uninspired, lack of physicality, throwing the ball all over the gym and don’t look like you care at times.”

We are threatening to fall into play-in range

I can’t wait to lose to PHX in the play-ins. It’s destined

The talent level is what it is.

Good but not great players -

Teams without high end talent win by playing harder - defending and not making a lot of mistakes.

I wonder what Ime does at practice. I've seen clips and always see them just talking shooting free-throws or Ime showing them how he use to play defense back in day

We do nothing to make it easy on players and when players do make a couple shots in a row they stop seeing the ball

our offensive system is the exact same thing over and over and teams have adjusted as the season continues

Rockets lost game in 4th quarter ... per usual. Scored under 20 yet again.

You'd think Ime coming from the Spurs system would bring along the Pop style coaching...

When we missed our initial FT, it was written. Cant shoot 50% from the line and expect to win.

same bs over and over. Maybe your aren’t doing a good job as a coach. I truly can’t fathom that losing FVV can take that much toll on your team and if it does, I think it’s time to make some adjustments on the offensive end?

I am getting sick of this ****. Couple of months ago this team was the number 2 on power ranking and now this team dropped to number 5 in the western conference and possibly end up in the play in tournament…

    absolute **** show

When you can't even shoot well enough to hit your free throws at a Jr. High level, you're going to have a hard time winning in the NBA. That was inexcusable.

I feel like the foul shooting issues are objectively unacceptable and coaching has ti be partly responsible. That’s a practice and discipline thing. As a team to shoot 50% from the line? Can’t happen. We aren’t gonna magically be able to improve the shooting in season; that’s a roster issue. But we can and should be able to make our free throws. We are not good enough to leave points at the foul line.

This is entirely on Stone. 3P shooting + perimeter creation has been a problem from day one of this season. Stone chose to stand pat at trade deadline.

    They didn't play well.

At the same time, the team clearly doesn't know what he wants. The offense has been unacceptable in good times and bad. It's a cop-out to say he's just asking them to work hard and play defense. The numbers show that he's designed a team that needs to rebound like the best rebounding team in 20 years. Wtf kind of standard is that? No, you're not guaranteed that from anyone Ime.

There's no one who can argue that after spending $80m+ per season on players and developing them for almost two years, it's acceptable to have improved exactly 0% at TS% since Silas. We remain one of the worst in the league.

You can tell me all day about superstars but first explain to me: even if he inherited 7 g leaguers in their early 20's, how did we not improve at all? Jalen and Dillon are WAY better shooters than they were. That's 2 of his 5 starters.

Unless... they did improve individually but Ime suffocates every offense he coaches.

You want to talk about superstars? Ime couldn't finish higher than 8th in TS% with the Celtics. You need Tatum and Brown on one of the most expensive rosters in the NBA just to finish 8th? So Ime needs not one but two superstars just to finish 8th and then his 36 year old assistant just shoots them up to best offense and a championship?

Sounds like a coach who's not good at coaching offense whatever the pieces are. You don't go with that coach's advice on the ceiling of your offense.

He's not getting through to this roster and his voice seems to have lost credibility in the locker room because of his shocking fear of accountability.

When you're breaking 20-year rebounding records and playing elite defense and the coach can't stop whining about tiny things and ignores that the offensive system is a catastrophe and goes out and throws you under the bus over and over again because some idiot taught him that's toughness - yeah, you might see a bunch of confused 22 year olds out there.

We need a leader at the HC position too. It's not one or two players dipping. It's the whole system, whole team. If you have ever seen an entire team demotivated including its previously unquestioned hard workers: that always comes from shitty leadership.

Stop whining about superstars guys, he has been garbage with a non-superstar squad and before the rockets 2-superstar Celtics underperformed offensively too - which is exactly how Kerr barbecued him in the Finals.

This game was a disgusting performance by players and coach but I know these players can play hard. I don't know if Ime knows how to get more out of an offense than the sum of its parts - the minimum standard for an average offensive coach.
