I know its a longshot rihgt now but................

The lakers miss the playoffs, get the #1 pick and get lebron

    Shaq/Kobe/LeBron

I dont care what any of you say this is probably the most incredible lineup in the history of the NBA, you could put any two guys along them and they would thrive. Hell you could put Bill Worrel and Calvin Muphy with this team and they would win the finals every year

    Nope sorry, it won't be.

Shaq won't be playing much longer, and you have to give LeBron 2-3 years to fully "develop" to NBA style.

Now I understand you could say that Yao has already gotten used to NBA style, but he's different. Look what's happened to Kwame Brown, Tyson Chandler, and Eddy Curry. NOTHING.

I agree LeBron is MUCH better than all of them, but he won't make an immediate impact, especially with the Lakers.

Kobe averaged only 7.6 PPG in '96-'97.

besides,I don't think Kobe could co-exist with LeBron.

If the Lakers some how got the first pick I would expect them to either trade it (the rights to Lebron James are unquestionably valueable) for someone like Jason Kidd or even John Stockton and Kirilenko who will fit in (plus Stockton will get that elusive ring) or they will draft the sweet shooting 7 foot 17 year old out of Europe.

My thoughts exactly. Kobe and LeBron both need the ball to be effective on the court.

    For STOCKTON and KIRELINKO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You really need to think before you type.

Some teams want Lebron more then Ming. And you think Lakers would take a 41 yr old and a good role player for him.

    Get a life.

Eddie Jones and Kobe Bryant? They had to get rid of one...

If this occurred.......THEY WOULD BE UNSTOPPABLE.

I hope that will not happen. I am confident that the Lakers will reach the playoffs and either take the Houston Rockets', Seattle SuperSonics', or Minnesota Timberwolves' spot. One of the three will not reach the playoffs.

You must be joking. You have too much to think about. The Fakers are going to make the playoffs. You know it. That combination of Shaq and Kobe and Lebron...all weird names...would dominate. It would never occur. Stop wondering.
