IMO just a couple of small pieces missing on this team.

Haven't been a fan since they ran off Dream.

Rockets are cursed for forcing out Rudy and sabotaging Stevie Franchise's career. Payback's a b****. BWAHAHA.

    I am a fan if:

    1) they quit making ridiculous defensive lapses like letting Okur drop 3s like that

    2) Yao ming would learn to not get pushed around by a bunch of midgets

    3) If the could rebound and really showed they wanted it more

The only way for this to happen...

    1) New Coach - this team lacks fundamentals

    2) Better Big man coach or get some winner players - Yao or Tracy should go--you want to debate this--look at the Jazz and Warrior series--there is your answer

    3) Hit your free throws and we win this going away...

Yes, I am still a fan, but tired of the same excuses, lapses, coaching blunders, and general failure of our star players to display winning attitudes...

Until I'm dead.....ok after I die as well. I want to criticize the hell out of them right now, but it wouldn't make a difference. I love this team too !@#$ing much and it hurts so !@#$ing bad.
But I will always be back. The cast may change but I won't. Until I'm dead.

Always. Still can't wait until we sign that POWER FORWARD we've needed for the last few years.

Some of you need to remember that these are MULTI MILLIONAIRS playing a kids game for a living. Ease that stress level down. This isn't the end of the world.

no, not as long as JVG is the coach.

    it's a joke of a coaching job.

Yao is just not good enough to be the "2 superstar" mold.

And I'm a huge, well was a huge fan.

    TMac did not do it.

Lost 3 rebounds in the last seconds. That's the game. Yao lost them so what can I say. Superstars close out but Yao didn't.

And the west is getting better, not worst so no way, no way this team can get anyway in the playoff.

There is nothing outside the 2 stars, no Yao is not a superstar in my eyes anymore.

Oh yeah, no upgrade on the PG position. This team is doom.

Of course. The offseason should prove beneficial in helping the Rockets get better. They didn't match their expectation in getting out of the 1st round, but this is far from the most heart breaking loss I've seen since being a fan. They're going in the right direction, and are another playmaker short of being legitimate contenders. I don't like the restricting offense the Rockets run, and it sucks Yao's been playing a step slower since coming back from his knee injury, but I expect him to be fully mended by the time next season starts.

The Rockets need more size either at the PG and PF position, as well as another playmaker. Who the Rockets will try to acquire to fill up those gaps I'm not sure of yet. As for whether JVG should be fired or not I can't say. There's really no big names outside of Rudy T that I can think of that would be a better coach than JVG. Maybe the Rockets will get lucky and nab Francis who I think is more likely to go to the Clippers should he get cut. If they do they though, then they should draft a banger in the paint like Milsap, and develop V-Span more in the offseason and hope he pans out. Not all hope is lost.

I'm just glad the Rockets have the luxury of being in the playoff talk once more. The Francis era, and injury ridden McGrady and Yao era has had more than its fair share of bumpy roads.

    Jeff has to go.

I don't want another season of uglyball bull**** where Van Gundy apologists claim is "designed for the playoffs."

Everyone here bleeds red, silver, and white. We are pissed and Kenny is very annoying. Now he comes out and says Utah was a better team all along what a jerk. If the Rockets would have won he would have said the Rockets got away with winning the series.

I am still a fan. I always will be a fan. No matter what happens, I will love the Rockets with all my heart, and to me, we WILL get over this hump. Despite the fact that I felt JVG screwed the hell up by not fouling, and thus should be fired, I still love the Rockets, even through all the hard times. I've been through too much Rockets crap to give up now. Last year? 34 wins? Made it. Warriors making the playoffs and being heckled at school for being a Rockets fan? Made it. Warriors beating the Mavs and getting even more bull**** about their upset and how the Rockets suck? Made it through that too. Playoff Game 7 loss? This is not what's going to happen next year. I can feel something big. Maybe it won't be T-Mac, maybe it won't be Yao, but I KNOW somebody will make us the team that all of us fans unite and be proud of the greatest franchise in the world. So, to answer your question, I AM STILL A FAN. I WILL ALWAYS BE A FAN. And if you are giving up after this, then **** you and go to hell.

Been a fan since age 4... 30+ years.... BUT

    Read my signature quote...

I'll be a fan even more so when Gundy's gone.

And when T-Mac grows some more brain cells enough to know when a game is the biggest one of his career. (I think he'll retire or leave...)
