^ that picture is making fun of the fact Fisher left the Jazz last year to find a place for treatment for his daughter's eye cancer because Utah's doctors suck and werent good enough.. so when Fisher was released from his contract, he moved to LA where there were good doctors and his daughter ended up getting treatment... then Fisher signed with the Lakers because he felt he had a fatherly obligation to be near his child. then the classless utah jazz fans boo fisher in the first game of utah vs Lakers and again in the playoffs. Pretty much explains how pathetic they are.. Here Ill say it. Utah Jazz fans are wanks and the biggest piece of **** of an excuse as basketball fans
WTF i dont understand these people WTF is wrong with them?!? I hope god sends a flood coming their way and drowns them
This is absurd. I thought Utah fans were humans and I'm .. not being sarcastic either but this shows they worship the evil.
Look at how his hand is blurred compared to his face. It's definitely in motion, so I think it's more likely that snapshot caught him while his hand was rising or falling from wiping sweat from his forehead or adjusting his cap or something. Utah fans might be classless, but this photo isn't particularly damning.
No one puts there hand on there left eye its not like he had his thumb covering his eye it was his hand and not to mention it was Fisher showing the FT not someone else so that theory should be thrown out the window.
I'm not so sure how incriminating that photo is. It looks to me like there is some motion blur and that he is actually facing a little bit past Fisher and possibly talking to the fool next to him. I don't know, if he IS making fun of her then that is obviously innappropriate and # 4,364 on the list of reasons to hate Jazz fans. Not trying to undermine how angry that makes you, but you should consider that it is only a photo, and if what it implies is actually what was intended, that he is only one raging blowhard in a sea of many. Don't lose sleep over it.
The picture is inconclusive. I do see some LakersDrama though. If he is indeed using Fisher's daughter's condition then clearly that's disgusting. BTW, didn't some Utah resident here tell us the local 'Utah' take on it? Something like the majority of his daughter's treatment wouldn't actually be anywhere near LA or something like that, thus the fans booing him, etc... And I couldn't care less about either team. The last thing I would do is try to stand up for Utah fans, just trying to get the whole picture here.
that's disgusting, no doubt. on a related note, it doesn't seem fair that fisher is even playing in this series. there should have been a clause when the jazz so graciously let him out of his contract, that, whichever team he signed with, he shouldnt be allowed to participate in games vs. the jazz. just doesn't seem right to me.
It would be right if the fans acted like humans. but since its more clear that they aren't you're sentiments hold truth it would be better if he didn't have to play with them especially since they do those things.
Am I the only one that is so ****ing tired of people trying to play up this Utah/Derek Fisher drama? People boo opposing teams players during the regular season and even moreso in the playoffs. ESPN was even trying to play up some goofy **** about "we're going to show you the pregame starting lineup introductions to see if Utah will boo Derek Fisher!!!" OF COURSE THEY ARE GOING TO BOO DEREK FISHER DURING THE STARTING LINEUPS!!!!!!!!!!! THAT'S WHAT YOU ****ING DO. YOU BOO PLAYERS FROM THE OTHER TEAMS DURING STARTING LINEUP INTROS. THEY BOOED KOBE, THEY BOOED RADMONOVIC, THEY BOOED PAU GASOL, AND THEY BOOED ODOM! YOU BOO THE OTHER TEAMS PLAYERS. Now that I have that out of the way... Last year, when Derek fisher missed time in the playoffs, didn't he go to New York City to get treatment for his daughter? Why didn't Fisher sign with the Knicks or Nets? Additionally, Fisher's daughter still goes to NYC for checkups and presently has checkups once a month in Los Angeles. Would one charter flight per month from Salt Lake City to LA really be that difficult? I don't know. I know I'll get blasted for asking these questions, but I don't really understand why the hell it's a big deal for Utah fans to boo and heckle an opposing player on a rival team during the playoffs.
It's not a big deal when you just heckle the player with other things that aren't involved in his personal life. his daughter has nothing to do with basketball how can you compare that to regular boo's and heckling?
This idiot is LUCKY that's Derek Fisher and NOT Maxwell! We all know what happened when some dumb fan in Portland said something about Max's daughter.
We don't know what that pic is saying. Can't tell... But we do know the fans booed Fisher when he returned. After all he did for that team in the playoffs last year. Showing up late, giving them a boost. It was so admirable. Without Fisher we would have beat them last year. Either way. What they have done to Fisher is wrong and I don't think any other NBA fan base would treat him that way. Fisher is a freaking super hero in my book.
