And man it is difficult. I know, I know, for 3000$ it's probably going to be crappy, but man I've been everywhere and everytime I find someone selling something for around there, there's something wrong with it. If anybody on these forums is selling a car for cheap, I am extremely interested and need to know ASAP. We can contact each other if you drop your e-mail/phone #/ or messenger. Thanks.
A 1995 Camry XLE, leather, V6, sunroof.....needs a gasket replaced though because it burns a little oil. I have not had the time to do it, the car is just sitting in my garage. $2000
It takes time, but you can find a pretty good car for $3000. I got my 92 Accord for 2000 dollars 3 years ago, and it still works like a wonder. Check newspapers, go to dealerships, I bet if you can find a good one within few days.
Ok I sent it, make sure you e-mail it to the address i gave you. If there are also any offers from anybody, it is welcome.
BTW, only accepting automatic cars only not manual. I hope yours is auto benign. Edit: I just read that replacing gaskets could cost hundreds to thousands... damn, benign.
Interesting, we could always run it by a mechanic, of your choice of course, to see what they say. Worth a shot, I don't have a need for the car anymore. 4 people in the family and 5 cars....the Camry is the odd one out It is auto by the way
manual cars are better and my mechanic estimated it to cost about 700 to replace the head gasket on an old ford that i had.
Uhh... Benign lives too far from me so, if anybody else is selling a car for 3000$ or less, post here please, thanks.
I drive a 1987 Chrysler LeBaron (just as old as I am). It only has 32,000 miles on it, though. The only other owner of the car (besides me) was an 85 year old lady. Basically, the car is like new, except it was built a long time ago. I payed $1250 dollars for it.
Sounds nice but it probably doesn't have a cassette player... i'm a big music guy when i drive. Are you selling it or are you just saying that?
Sorry for putting the wrong kind of info out there. I was just letting you know that, if you dig deep enough, you can find something dirt cheap that has good value. I'll be keeping mine, probably for another 5 years or so. If you find a good car without a cassette/cd player, just do what I do: Like you suspected, my car has no cassette player, so I bought an mp3 player, and got an accessory to send a radio signal into my radio. I can listen to whatever song, whenever.
Thanks for the sense of hope, though I've been searching for a car for a month now BTW, where do you buy that accessory that does that?
