    Ok well here goes...
For the first time this season or any other season at that I was really happy the Rox lost. Why would i do such a thing? Well i think its pretty clear this team will not make any moves or Mr. Grumppy isn't going to change his coaching style. Unless we loss some games! As much as it killed me watching an expansion team beat us 2 times in a row it made me happy as well. W/ this loss I know nether Les nor CD are gona stand by while Rox fans booo from the stand and dont re-new their season tix. There WILL be changes coming, if it be player movement or coach.... (hopefully both)

If you can't change the players, change the coach.

I wonder if Phil Garner can do double duty?

But deep inside I am sad because watching the Rockets has been my favorite thing to do the last ten years or so. :(

Freakin Van Dummy ruined it for me. :(

I'm happy because instead of watching the rockets last night, I watched Francis and Cat kick the spur's teeth in. For me, that team feels more like the rockets to me.

Besides Yao and MoT, I'm not emotionally attached to any of the players. I just don't see the heart in any of them that I associate with clutch city.

i find myself in an extremely dissonant state right now. i, too, have quit watching the rockets. they've been my favorite team in my favorite sport since the late 70's. i no longer live in houston, so every year (including this one) i purchase the nba league pass just so i can watch 'em. this year i've watched a total of about 3 games. in previous years i've MISSED about 3 games. this depresses the crap out of me. i've finally come to the point where i'm glad we lose games. this is the only thing i can see leading to the demise of the van grumpy era.
i can't believe this is happening...

I was thinking that too. He might not know squat about basketball but he sure can motivate.

Amen. Les Alexander ruined the Rox for me the day he FORCED Rudy out and handed the reign over to JVG. Whatever happened to the loyalties of this organisation? In the past five or six years Les Alexander has stood by allowing Hakeem, Rudy, Mario, Steve, Cuttino, and surely others I cant remember leave. Honestly, the only Rox game I am interested in seeing is when they play Orlando in January. I cant wait to see Steve cross TMac over and climb Mt. Yao the scream at JVG. HOW SWEET IT IS!!!!!!!

Maybe it's time for a coaching change. I wonder if CD is working the phone and kissing Phil Jackson's ass right now.

I actually am happy and not cuz losing means moves will be made. I have confidence in this team.
Yao is showing he can actually rebound the ball if he wants to... he just needs to cut down on the turnovers. TMac is showing he can play up to his level even under JVG. Most of all, Sura is showing to be a kick-ass addition.
Even though we lost against the Bobcats at home, it was a freak occurrence with Yao's 10 turnovers and TMacs numerous free throw misses. That game shouldn't have even been close.

i can't stop watching, no matter how bad it gets i will allways be glued every game.

and i am willing to let this year go. we had blown up the roster and the pieces we were left with are unusable. lets face it this is a rebuilding year. on the bright side what team do you know is around .500 during a rebuilding year after blowing up the roster? thats yao and tmac. they win every other night by themselves. when we find a team to go with them, we are going to be VERY good.

correct me if im wrong but we are looking for a rebounder, a shooter, a PG who can get asts and be a 3pt threat. we need to change 3 starters! thats a lot of work. rome wasn't built in a day.

I agree shawn, besides, actually beating the Bobcats (or Clippers, 76ers, Hawks, Knicks, Hornets, etc,) in overtime (or in regulation by 5 points or less) is the same as a loss IMO. W-L column would sure look different, but results are the same...a dissapointing, underacheiving, mis-coached, basketball team...

I'm still pissed off. I just can't get over the fact the Rockerts lost to Bobcats. Of all the teams in NBA, why Bobcasts? why lost to 'em twice?

Mo, and Howard are really not that bad players. it's JVG who make 'em and everybody on the team look much worse than they are.
