Steve Francis being out. With Rafer suspended and Aaron Brooks playing great this could have been Steve chance 2 show us all what he has left. Im happy he is back in Houston but what is taking so long.

While this would be an ideal time for him to be able to do this, I think he's barely practicing right now. If Barry is ready to go tonight expect to see him at the point backing up Brooks, if he isn't it'll be Luther.

the most important thing about that video is that more than 3/4 of the highlights in it happened in games the rockets were losing.

When are people going to understand that Francis is not going to play for us again? Seriously, it can't be anymore obvious.

3:18 in that video is sick. Franchise can still get it done in NBA Live 02

Steve Francis is no more. His most valuable asset to the team is his EXPIRING CONTRACT.

We are hanging onto Steve only long enough for him to be certified by a league doctor that he can't play anymore. We can assume this can't happen until his original rehab period ends, as I doubt a league doctor will certify him incapable of playing basketball anymore until he finishes his rehab. Then we waive him, his salary comes off the books, and we sign Mutombo.

Did you hear this somewhere? Or are you just taking an educated guess?

Becuase it sounds very plausible to me.

It never ceases to amaze me how people here put Steve Francis on a pedestal. You would think they were talking about Hakeem Olajuwon or something.

I don’t hate Steve Francis, I like him. But I also keep his career with the Rockets in perspective. The guy has a total of 1 playoff game victory in his entire Rocket tenure and some people want to put a statue of him at Toyota Center right next to Hakeem’s.

Oh and by the way, he’s never going to play another NBA game with the Rockets or any other team. He’s done. You need to come to terms with that.

Omg, your video made me feel homo. I want Steve Francis back now! I really miss him after watching that.....

Although there have been times when i hated him for ballhogging, it doesn't even matter anymore, just come back and play!

A lot of people were completely writing him off last year and he came in and won the game at Phoenix for us.

I'm not done rooting for him yet, but it does look bad.

shucks.. I still had high hopes for his return. Franchise was awesome.. althought not among the elite but a pretty dang good player. He will be sorely missed if his career is over.

i think steve has value as an expiring that would be lost under this scenario. if steve cant play, considering the team still has a few holes, i'd like to see Morey package his salary in a 2 for 1 kind of deal to bring in a roleplayer at the 1, and clear enough room for Deke.

Steve Novak won one game for us last year too.

Playing in only 10 games and shooting 33%(23% from behind the arc) last year didn't exactly prove his critics wrong.

By who? He hasn't played a meaningful stretch of games for the Rockets in 4 years.

    Seriously?

SF is long gone. He's not coming back. If he did, he would play sparse minutes. He's old.

    Sorry, OP.

If Steve really wanted to help the Rockets, he would of declined the player option this past summer. Alas he disappoints us as Steve Francis usually does.
