D&D homey. Serisouly though, I could care less about the words. Its the stomping on the kid for no reason that is bs. I'd like to take a baton to the side of those cops face. I also get bothered whne the media says, "the Mexican American community is in an outrage". Shouldn't all Americans be outraged?
This is the problem with cops now a day. They are not discipline enough but based their actions on their emotions. It's either these cops have bad experiences with Mexicans or other races so they become stereotyping.
We should withhold judgmental comments based on only a few seconds of video. We know nothing of the events leading up to that moment and we don't know what (if anything) the guy said to the police. Don't jump to conclusions.
Sorry, but F that. Nothing he said justifies the stomping. Don't know what world you live in. Dude was down. Him getting mixed up and getting the harsh words, sure I have no judgement on that, but the stomping cannot be explained. Then again, maybe if he had a bomb on his face and a detonator in his hand.......GTFOH.
Seems simple to me. just the language used by the officer towards the individual is excusable. Unless you wouldn't mind being treated like that.
This is what can go wrong! People with badges will have ego trips, not all of them but many of them. I sure did when I was a bus patrol in the 5th grade.
Por que? If your son/daughter was a minority, and this footage applied to them with the son/daughter being in that young man's place, you would be pretty pissed no? So please, take your subjectivity elsewhere.
The Chief's name is John Diaz. He might be of Latin descent because of his last name. If that is the case, the officers are screwed! Po-po just don't give a freak nowadays!
And you wonder why I yell at cops? Also, maybe the guy drank a Jarritos or, if the guy really is Mexican then technically would the piss not be Mexican? Either way the point of this post is to tell clarify why you might want to put it in the D&D.
Why would they have to be a minority? Flipping the earlier post, if he wasn't a minority then it would be alright? That clause is not necessary here. To answer, if it were my son/daughter, I would be angry too, but the first thing that would enter my mind is "What could he/she have done to deserve THAT?" and the answer is, maybe nothing at all, probably nothing that would justify being kicked like that, but the video is edited where we just don't know. He's not saying it's ok and nothing is wrong in this scene. What he's saying I think is that we haven't seen the whole story, don't know what happened leading up to it, and perhaps judgement should be reserved for those who do know/learn the whole story.... not that there she be none. I don't think anything that could have been said would justify the physical contact seen here, but it might shed some light on the scenario that currently isn't there.
The other big story about this video is the original news station trying to suppress it, possible because they have a business relationship with the local police.
edit: "should" be none... not she. dunno where that came from. yeah yeah... just waiting to be blessed and I'll edit right next time. Sorry for double post.
Seattle cops in the news lately. Kid is going to get paid. They can beat the cracker piss outta me for a fat paycheck.
