I know I'm beatin a dead horse here....

I know the summer is long.........

and we're all sick of repetetive threads.........but dam!!!!!

    COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now golden state is getting bit my the tradin bug.....and not us!!!

    Cliff Robinson for Bobby Sura??????

Thats a steal for G State!!!!!!!

OK here comes the repetition........Why the hell are the Rocks sittin on there hands here guys...........this is definately a trade we could beat......and EVERYONE on this board agrees that the 3 or Small forward is a huge concern at this point so why!!!!!!

They're gettin Cliff for Sura straight up...we could definately beat that deal guys........Cliff would look real good at our three this year

And I don't want to hear that crap about give this team a chance under JVG........this was a minor deal we could of got done to solidify our three spot.......somebody tell me what gives here???

Now even Golden state is beatin us to the trade punch....this was a very doable deal...Cliff makes only about 5 million a season, so he would have been cheap also....no cap issues or nothing!!!!!

Now excuse me while I step my angry *** away from the computer ......and go kill myself:mad: :(

    What can they do?

Face reality. There isn't a big market for guys like Mo Taylor, Glen Rice, and Kelvin Cato.

Fire JVG. He doesn't know what he is doing. Can't believe he is sitting back and not trading for Jamison and Sura.

Hell.............There isn't a big market for Bobby Suras either for that matter

But they still got rid of him and his bad contract........

As a matter of fact..............Jamison who?????

They just got rid of a 87 million dollar contract last week to a small forward(Jamison)........that they replace with Cliff startin and Dunleavy off the bench....if you ask me they didn't lose alot

Also did you not see that Minnesota got Sprewell for Marc Jackson and pocket lint??????

MO, Cato, Cat, Rice, Or Griff can land something.......I'm not sayin they're blockbusters, but they can land something

    Truth is a b****, huh?

I think that horse is so beat down that I can't even find it anymore. It's pulverized into dust. We'll have to find another animal to beat now.

    BangBoy Chill!

Who cares about old ass Cliff Robinson?

This team won 43 games last year with a burned out coach and missed the playoffs by a few games. JVG will at least account for 6-10 more wins. There is nothing wrong with this team! You can not have a team full of superstars playa! All the current Houston Rockets needs is a little discipline and some real plays. Do us all a favor and give it a rest until mid-season.

    Alamo re-visit here:

Nonchalantly: "Don't worry about sending out another call for help, Captain Bowie, the Mexican army is only three or four thousand strong. We can take them!"

Valiant effort as it was, but we know the outcome. I don't think we're outnumbered 115 or so to 3,000 (sake of argument), but they're (other WC contenders) making moves and we're not. Let's just sit still and wait for them to get us. That will show 'em.

In a related story, "hey the cubs are making moves, but so what, simon, ramirez and lofton, they do not make the cubs a better team- we'll still win first place!". Let it be noted, for the night of 8/20/2003:

    Simon and Ramirez 5

    Astros 0

It's all about marginal increases, as not every team has a Cuban bank-roll that could stop a Hummer dead in it's tracks, supporting it.

ok show of hands that think that the Golden Gay Warriers really are in contention for a play off spot. My god people. Thay lost an young athletic very good Starter at small forward and a solid backup guard for Old Cripple Cliff Robinson and Nick Van Exel, The starting point guard on the NBA-All head case team.

News Flash Kids, Van Exel succeded on a team where you had to look out for Dirk, Nash, and Fenley. what exally did he do be for that in Denver??????

Cliff would be in a battle with EG for BACKUP PF on this team. yeah thats what we need another none Physical PF

we go way to many small player as is so no need to Sura on this team. and sense we are already cap out no point in even thinking about Jamison. so will some one please tell me why if folks trippin about the rockets staying put.

Can we have a show of hands on how many people think Cliff Robinson was the last piece of the puzzle to move the Rox into the same Tier as LAL, SAS, DAL, & SAC?

The Pistons already had major cap room next summer so they had no need for Rice. Sura just made it a little better for them. Taking on Cato or Taylor means no FA $ next summer for Detroit.

So if you were Joe Dumars, would you rather have $10m in cap room next summer or Cato or Taylor?

Overpaid and underachieving players are not high on opposing GM's lists of trade prospects. Why is this so hard to understand?

OK, so Golden State goes from being the worst team in the Western Conference to the second worst team...

Well, I looked for your "truth" that you think you have stated...and didnt see it.

All I see is knee-jerk reactionist opinion.

Call us when you have some absolute truth to bestow on us.

I am not sure, who are they better than? I really, really doubt the Warriors will be better than Denver next year. I agree they may have lead frogged Cleveland and maybe Toronto though. Let's remember the Warriors lost by far their two best and most talented players from last year in Jamison and Arenas.

Nah, I would have had little interest in trading for Cliffy. However had we pulled a Rice-Jamison centered trade before Dallas did we could have made a nice run for the 5th spot and put us in great position 2-3-4-5-6 years down the line.

I guess the fact of the matter is that whenever someone comes with WHY DIDN'T WE DO THAT (the same tired rap) every time a trade in rumored, you're going to get the same tired rap response!

A man goes to the doctor and says "Doc it hurts when I do this!!" The doc says "don't do that!!":p
