My band Modulator will have an instrumental version of our song "Don't Hold Out on Me" on tonight's (April 20th) episode of The Real World. Although the band was hoping for an actual guest appearance , we're still excited about getting our music out to a national audience (if only for a few moments). We are trying to get a sample of "Don't Hold Out on Me" on our website, and I will post again once this is accomplished. In the meantime, you can listen to the sample of "Major Malfunction". Thanks in advance for listening and feel free to email me at tom@modulator.org.
You had me at "My Band" your stuff sounds awesome. I love it. If you send me some stuff I would be happy to use it as bumpers on the radio shows here at 610. Might be nice to have some plugs... Chance McClain Infinity Radio 24 Greenway Plaza Suite 1900 Houston, Texas 77046 Chance
Congrats. I have a friend whose band had stuff played on Felicity, Dawson's Creek, Real World, etc. It definitely helped them get heard. Way to go!
congrats. if i were you i would be so excited. and i surely would have a ton of girls over and use it as an excuse to get laid.
That's great, man. Congrats! I played on a local bands first album a few years ago. One day, while switching TV stations, I came upon MTV and heard one of our songs! It was Fraternity Life or Sorority Life, I don't remember, but it was pretty surreal listening to yourself on MTV! Again, congrats!
Well, I guess I need to clean some egg off my face. For whatever reason, they did not use the clip. I talked to some other members of the band, and they were equally perplexed. The only explanation I can give is that we were told both that (a) it would be on tonight and (b) it would be on Episode 18. Tonight was Episode 17, so I guess there's still a chance. In any case, if anyone actually watched on my band's behalf, we apologize for the false announcement. Ahhh . . . showbiz.
