Leaving tommorow( today i mean, its like 2 am now), staying there for a few months, then going to Saudi for a few weeks.... Should be fun... Ill try to post pics when I get there. and sorry for leaving any debates without a reply. INDIA Riyadh, Saudi ARABIA
Lucky b*stard (atleast as far as India in concerned, I have no idea how Saudi is). You going to be in Bombay?
Hyderabad, and prolly Delhi for a few weeks. Most prolly will go to bombay for some visa thing. And Saudi is pretty cool too, but id rather spend more time in india(the dollar spends better over there)
Saudi can't be too much fun in the summer. I want to go to Bombay so bad. Check out Dubai if you get a chance.
Saudis fun coz everything is indoors and air conditioned. Thats why it actually feels cooler than the Indian trip, also no mosquitos in Saudi. True you cant do anything at all outside, but at nighttime it gets reallly cool and nice. Dubai, i went there a couple of years ago... it was pretty sweet.
India is the definition of sh!thole. Human crap in the streets, monkeys and cows just roaming around crapping and pissing everywhere. What a dump.
India, Iraq, pakistan, Iran, Afganistan, middle east......nar.......I woudn't not dare to go to these place......
Man i was suppose to come down and meet ya today but i got busy well have fun in hyd...man i kinda wanna go to, to eat some allhumdullilah biryani...man some people are so naive talkin about that they would never goto india cuz its a ****hole man they have no clue what they missing out on
ELAINE: (Shrugging it off) Anyway, your son is marrying my friend, Sue Ellen Mischke.. USHA: You're not going to the wedding, are you? ELAINE: Well.. USHA: Don't go. India is a dreadful, dreadful place. ZUBIN: You know, it's the only country that still has the plague? I mean, the plague! Please! USHA: Here's the registry. Send her a gift, and be glad you did not have to go. ELAINE: (Soaking it in) Right. Don't go. Send a gift. I think I understand. ZUBIN: If I had to go to India, I wouldn't go to the bathroom the entire trip. ELAINE: (Leaving) That's fantastic.
that Seinfeld quote aside, I have fond memories of my time in India. When I was in Delhi or Dilli for you locals I might have had my finest meal ever had at the Bukhara in the Sheraton there. Where else in the world can you dine at one of the finest restaraunts in the world for less than $30 for a full course meal with desert and drinks. Your dollar or sterling does go far in India. I had heard that Putin in a one week stay in Delhi ate at that place, 3 times. I also enjoyed Goa quite a bit. Some of the finest resorts in the world. I heard they had some problems with the tsunami though. In South India, Bangalore was refreshing to see all the technological developments along with their embrace of Western culture. Maybe good, maybe bad... Further south in Chennai aka Madras was a historical wonderland with the ancient temples and the spectacular mountain temple of Tirupati. Overall in all the cities of India, it was interesting to see the still standing British architecture from colonial times. I went even further south to Sri Lanka, who many Muslims say is the true remnants of the Garden of Eden. I was surprised by the number of Porches on the road. I believe Sir Arthur Clarke has lived there for some time now. The security is something to behold. Something I haven't seen as much since I was last in Israel.
Nice. Bring your uncle back somethin. I wanna come down to Houston this summer and chill with you kinfolk.
Do us all a favor, come back with Typhoid, and then meet up with bigtexx and gwayenco for dinner or lunch some time.

i already tried meeting them up to discuss their feelings on Islam... neither of them responds with a serious answer.
I know some of you have your own opinions of India, but Christ!!! Let the guy be excited about his trip and stop acting so wack. BTW.... I take it you got all of the immunizations? I have a few guys in my group going to India and Singapore for the next 2 weeks and 1 has been on these pills for a few weeks and is fixing to start on the pills to prevent malaria (sp?). I'm sure India has plenty of beauty. Have fun and take more pics.
