I'm goin' back to Cali (summer '09)

    Every summer for the past 5+ years, I've taken the family to southern California for a summer vacation, and this summer is no exception.

    We leave Saturday morning at 5 am. and will be gone for two weeks.

    Nowadays, we drive instead of flying, so I'll be packing the wife, the 2-yr-old boy, and the 8-yr-old girl into the minivan and driving out there.

    Gonna stay a night in Lordsburg, NM on the way out.

    Gonna stay a night in Las Cruces, NM on the way back.

    While we're there, we'll be staying at my brother-in-law's place in Orange County.

    Gonna go to the beach several times.
    Gonna go to Disneyland several times.
    Always gotta make a trip to Balboa island.
    other miscellaneous fun.

    I can hardly wait!
