Loss at home with Yao injured for a single game against the Jazz. Thats how it happened last season. It could happen again this season. Or not.
i am calling the s&p 500 will rebound to 1,500pts tomorrow. and i figure i may still have a better chance than you.
Relax dude, I'm just trying to bring some positivity to this negative board. Reminding everyone that this was how the streak got started. The schedule ahead is looking easier. Yao is back, and in the past 4 games he's been our most consistent threat. We're playing a team where Yao can take advantage in the post. I think looking ahead our hardest games will be Orlando and Denver, winnable games. So if we can get a streak going that builds confidence and chemistry and we can do something with that.
a couple of years ago when mcgrady went down in the wiz game, yao was balling. then yao started his brief "domination" play at mvp-worthy level. can he replicate this time?
I'm waiting for Yao to just start going off. His jumpshot has been a little inconsistant and thats what his game is built around. If he gets that going then we can at least go back to winning games by having 1-2 of the big 3 play well in a game.
yeah thats right, dow to 17000 by end of month! that 22 game winning streak was once in a decade experience..i seriously doubt it would happen again in another 10-20 years
Yeah,If so,I was happy to see we win 22 games in a row,but something must change,Yao wont miss the season like last season.Specially I want to see what we performed when we won 22 games in a row
geezz, what the main goal for rox this season is to get through the first round of postseason. Bear this point in your mind
I would like to see Yao gain a little weight and hopefully some endurance as well. It worries me slightly that he has been overused and is underweight (playing most all of every year since he became a star between H-town and China). That being said, the Rockets are going to wind up doing well this year, especially if someone besides Tracy can learn Adelman's offense. T-Mac's health is paramount here, in conjunction with Yao's. Our bench os fairly deep and the return of Battier should help. If we get lucky and can get even standard production from Francis (later) off the bench we can mix it up and win if our 2 big cheeses stay healthy. Aaron Brooks is a bright spot and Artest will achieve wonders from time to time. This upcoming stretch should give us a good idea of where things may be headed. Let's go ROCKETS! I still love this team even when it loses, as tough as that is to watch when they look hapless. - CF
