Easily my favorite SNL skit of all-time: <object width="512" height="288"><param name="movie" value="http://www.hulu.com/embed/pHudtlffrTOOdU5Iz87YEg"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.hulu.com/embed/pHudtlffrTOOdU5Iz87YEg" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="512" height="288" allowFullScreen="true"></embed></object>
This is indeed great, in fact, I remember watching it on Comedy Central years ago and it made me want to watch SNL more not so much the current stuff.
I would have loved to see Eddie Murphy develop the "Mr. White" character further even to having a movie starring him. It has been done with other SNL characters that were nowhere near as funny as "Mr. White".
Christopher Guest directed this. It might be the best SNL skit of all time, Manny, I am with you. It is the best kind of comedy, that SNL has lacked for decades - cuts through and unearths a truth through absurdity. Incredible sketch.
Not to mention Velvet Jones or James Brown Celebrity Hot Tub Party. Eddie had some real classics... <object width="512" height="288"><param name="movie" value="http://www.hulu.com/embed/3mJQ9vaM_FFL4gKWI2I8GA"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.hulu.com/embed/3mJQ9vaM_FFL4gKWI2I8GA" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="512" height="288" allowFullScreen="true"></embed></object> <object width="512" height="296"><param name="movie" value="http://www.hulu.com/embed/b7jfI71jOPQMAU4LOO_TLQ"></param> <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param> <embed src="http://www.hulu.com/embed/b7jfI71jOPQMAU4LOO_TLQ" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" width="512" height="296"></embed></object>
