Okay fellas I think I got my mind made up. Let me know what you think. http://www.conns.com/new/show_product.php?isbn=4310
All I can say is that I'm totally happy with my Samsung. But you must, have to, see them in person before purchasing them. Compare the image to other TV's in your price range. Then make a decision. You might find another brand in your size and price range that you may think has a better picture... good luck!
i do like the samsungs. but 32 inches for $1700 is a little steep? I saw an awesome sony LCD 42 inch for like $1900 at best buy just 2 weeks ago. I recently took the HD dive and I went DLP. Got a good terx antenna. Watching HD football on sundays makes it all worth it.
Definately need a true flat screen (thin, preferably wall mounted). And anything over 32" would be overdoing it. Its for a small cramped bedroom. Everything 32" and less appears to be LCD HDTV. I've already been out to Frys and Best Buy to look at them. But Im pretty sure that I will go with this one. Keep the input coming! Thanks!
I say good choice..just make sure the TV has a HDMI input for Blu-Ray/HD-DVD. Look in some ads to try and find some price matching opportunities. I like buying from Circuit City just for the 30 day cheapest price guarentee.
I just bought the exact same tv for my downstairs living room on wednesday. Timewarner has to come out to install a amplifier on the cable outlet it is hooked up to before my HD will work. I carried it upstairs and hooked it to my other HD box and it has a beautiful picture. We watched the normal broadcasts of the football games and people still commented on how good the picture was. For me it came down to the Samsung and the Hitachi. I went with the Samsung because Circuit city had them in stock and I've been very happy with my 47 rear projection HD Samsung I bought a few years back.
Picked up the Syntax 26" one at CC today. Already hooked up and I am a happy man now. Considering it's only $470 after rebate/tax/coupon, it wasn't bad getting up at 4am after went to bed at 2am. BTW, for the HD programs of NBA games, I think TNT is superior compared to ESPN (not sure about NBATV and ABC, cuz I don't have the singals). How do you guys think?
ESPN rarely even shows NBA in HD. I havn't seen one game this season on ESPNHD that was in HD. The best feeds are the INHD feeds of NBATV games. They are really nice
