Happy birthday whippersnapper! Man, I drank so much more BEFORE I turned 21. After that, it wasn't the huge deal I thought it was. I hate being around a bunch of drunk asses now. Not to mention DWI's, fights, the $$$$. Give me 2 buds, extra cooled in the freezer for 14 min, some late night history channel, my couch, the wife after the show is over, and I'm good to go. It's nice being 30.
I don't know what's more sad, typing a "fake drunk" post with a bunch of intentional typos, or once having the moniker "Griffinfan"...
It actually was not a fake drunk post, but whatever. BTW, between the two options, the previous moniker would be sadder.
Happy birthday. .....I turned 23 yesterday. partying it up in Htown tonight. Stretch hummer limo picking us all up from the Double Tree Suites.
Happy birthday uprising!! It always seemed you more around the 30 range, congrats on being much younger than I thought.
I'm closer to 3 times your age than not. My advice to you? Get laid, as often as possible. No, you didn't have to wait to be 21 for that... I certainly was several years younger when I started my career, but believe me when I say that you'll remember those experiences far better than the drunken ones. At any rate, congratulations on being "legal" at last. You could vote for the last 3 years, but weren't considered "mature" enough to drink. I've always thought it was absurd that the age of drinking is different, these days, than the age of voting, maturity being more important for good judgement at the ballot box, one could argue, but I didn't vote for the destinction. You should get all rights at 18, in my opinion. Or none... drinking, voting, or serving in the armed forces, until 21. Seems like an arbitrary number to me. May as well be an age pulled out of a hat.
I completely agree. If you can go overseas and get killed for your country at 18, why can't you have a drink?
