Atlanta going for it!

I actually think the East playoffs will be a lot of fun this year. Toronto and Atlanta are going to be tough outs. Will be really interesting to see what Boston does between now and tomorrow afternoon.

 

Ilyasova/Millsap/Dwight is a pretty good frontline with versatility, shooting, defense

 

Have to assume Okafor or Noel are gone for sure now.

No way they carry 4 centers.

 

Okafor really shouldnt be a center though he's too short and doesnt defend.

 

I bet Okafor and Noel are both gone.

Ilyasova was producing too much for them... had to get an injured center and more picks. Okafor likely to be gone, maybe Noel too. Wonder if 76ers keep him though? He'd be a great backup big for us if he could ever stay healthy.

Splitter hasn't played a game since January 2016. He's most likely done. This move will help Philly creating even more space. Could be a sign that they want to keep Noel and pay him in summer.

 

Weird move for the Bulls. They already have Lopez, Gibson, Felicio, and Portis, but I guess a big would be moved. Okafor returns home, but comes off the bench? Kinda the same situation as Philly, no? No way they start him at the 4 with Lopez. Would be even more perplexing spacing on the floor for them.

I watched a few Philly games. If healthy, Ersan can play. He's 90% of Ryan Anderson.

Thought this too! Always thought he was a mix between Gallanari and Anderson, but not as good.

 

If Butler leaves and they decide to rebuild then yeah I agree. But this doesn't strike me as a move that helps them win now

Ersan is a better shooter with a faster release and deeper range than Millsap.

Millsap with his 7"2 wingspan can play some center in today's league.

That's create a lot of spacing for Atlanta when Dwight sits, and Dwight only plays 28-32min a game nowadays.

Philly probably wasn't going to resign Ersan to a big contract with their young guys getting closer to the end of the rookie contract. Ersan is the type of guy when you've got your established stars, you try to sign for $8-10m/yr to push you over the top. But you don't want to build with him.
