Hey MAGAT no democratic president sent apache helicopters above a major capital bombing buildings nd pushing regime change without congress. Trump doesn't even have the respect to give a speech informing the public.

The executive has no authority in the constitution to invade another country.

Our interventions in Latin America (and the Middle East, and Asia, and etc...), since the 50's or so, have all been an unmitigated disaster.

I understand why we did some of the things we did during the Cold War while the USSR was trying to destabilize everything they didn't control, but we sure didn't need to do things the way we did it.

I definitely agree with you there. President Eisenhower warned us about the military industrial complex that eventually took us to Vietnam, which turned out to be our nation's biggest foreign policy failure of the 20th century.

Trump rejects that doctrine. Leftists and neocons (Deep State goons) have accused Trump of being an isolationist, but he's definitely no such thing. Trump has mediated numerous peace agreements throughout the world. Trump supports peace. Peace is good for business. Peace is good for everyone. But sometimes we have to step up and eradicate evil dictators.

Our brother, astros123, is radically opposed to Trump no matter what Trump does. He's not rationale.

Hey MAGA I didn't agree with the war on terrorism but he had authority under the 2002 law that congress passed. Bombing Venezuela has nothing to do with terrorism or drugs. Its strictly regime change for oil.

MAGATs have no core ideology. They realky went from no new wars to regime change in less than a year.

Now they're saying Maduro and his wife have fled the country?

    Or now: "Captured"?

Regime change was always the goal, starting with the fanciful "drug boat" stuff

Maduro is an evil dictator. Why are you bothered about removing him? Because Trump?

So Trump can attack and invade another country without the approval of congress? Cool. Who needs a division of power and a constitution.

I sure hope this all ends well, but I do have my doubts.

If you're xi you're popping a bottle tonight. China has more right over Taiwan than we do with Venezuela. We'll let them take it

Maduro has been arrested and will face criminal charges in the US, according to US news sources.

Exactly like they did with Noriega, but they had mountains of evidence on him (because we knew what he was doing the whole time).

Will be fun to see what sort of evidence they introduce in Maduro's trial.

Funny how the various cartel heads in Mexico seem to have a "hands off, let the Mexicans try to handle it" policy. If this is indeed about drugs, you know, those would be the first guys you'd go after.
