Ike Nwanko?? That guy went to my high school and graduated a year before I did. He was a men among boys back then....I knew he went to UCLA but didn't know what happened to him after that.
Heh. I guess it's the time for all the Cy-Creek folks to come out of the woodwork. I just saw in another thread about Ike, a post by chrisjent too. I was there during part of Ike's time there. He was all anybody could talk about regarding the basketball team. (when we weren't talking about Sam Adams and the football team) I've seen his name popup every summer recently in regard to one team or another. I think he was signed by the Mav's briefly last summer. From what I've read, he just never did much at UCLA and eventually got buried on the bench. That's too bad. Just for kicks, I did a search on Google for his name and found all kinds of random references to his career. Including stints on the Heat and Mavs rosters. --Drof
