What do you guys think of this guy? Seems like he's another good fill in for Yao. He played extremely well at the end of the season last year when the Kings finally started playing him.

He has Joey Dorsey's body, but without the rebounds and blocks. That doesn't leave much, since there is no offense with Dorsey. :D

    not really...

Good low-post game... Great footwork... Good hands... Long arms... Lacks height and athleticism.

Well he was a lottery pick for a reason, He dominated when given the time. But then again, he's been traded around a lot and prob a big reason for that.

Hmm, lottery pick busts. That doesn't happen very often, does it?

diogu continues to intrigue people because of his amazing wingspan.

that does NOT translate into being a good low post defender or even being a desirable addition to a team.

who knows, maybe given good playing time he could really pan out... but so far he has not really impressed me.

I saw Diogu last season on the Blazers. When he got playing time against scrubs, he did OK. When he got it against rotation players, he flamed out badly. This guy couldn't even beat out Channing Frye. Who cares about wingspan when a player isn't any good? It isn't like he's unproven and fresh out of college. He's proven to be worthless. He belongs on a bottom-feeder like the Kings where there are no expectations and winning/losing doesn't mean much.

I rather give Dorsey the exposure in backing David A. Diogu is not good enough to relegate Dorsey as a third string center. Next center please. :D
