I sold my tickets lol No extra rep for staying. No rep for leaving. Players want the fans to stay and cheer when they gave them no reason to do either for 55 minutes. If they don't like it I suggest they start playing better. I suggest they don't get preachy when they started the game like every other blowout and got lucky at the end.
I was there til the end. I will say, in terms of overall attendance, our section was better than the norm. But otherwise, that was pretty bad.
There till the end of the game (have the Facebook post to prove it!); great comeback, but they need to clean up the play from the first 3 quarters. Next week, the Broncos D will be a much stiffer challenge, especially after all that Grandpa Wade said on his way out about the interview he had with BO'B.
I was there.....the drive home kind of sucked.....and I'm still up due to the red bull and adrenaline!
Good for the fans who stayed and got rewarded, but I'm not going to hate on those who left. The game didn't end until after 11:00pm on a Sunday night in a city where the median individual income is $27K and the average ticket price is about $100. If people were upset and wanted to go home to sleep and beat the traffic in a city where everyone lives all sprawled out, then that's fine in my book. Players who criticize that are just out of touch with the reality of Houston.
I don't disagree but ppl who bought tickets knew what they were getting into if a 3 hour game starts around 7:30-8
I don't blame anyone for leaving. The offense was getting handled (outside of Lamar Miller) by one of the worst in the game. There were no signs of life once Luck ran their last td in. I turned the game off for a bit. I only came back to see if it had gotten worse...just in time to see the Miller td to put us within 7.
I don't blame folks for leaving, but why leave with five minutes left? They were driving. Wait to see if they score, then leave if they don't. Once they scored, why leave? Wait to see if they get a stop, then leave.
I understand people leaving. The ones leaving aren't the ones making noise when the defense is out there anyway. I wouldn't have left personally. I remember being there for MNF against the Ravens back in 2010. Similar situation although we lost but the Texans came back and took it to overtime and it was just as loud in there as when before half the stadium left
25% of fans leave with 6 minutes to go in the game regardless if texans are up, down or tied. Some fans just want to beat traffic. Beino a Sunday night late game probably made that number 40%. The last ten percent that left were upset with the play.
I don't blame anyone for leaving either. I blame y'all for going. The Texans fans that go to the game are the worst and y'all know it.
4 minutes left, Brock throwing sorry a$$ passes. Brock getting booed. Brock throwing interception. There seemed to be no life left in the game and from the fan. The atmosphere wasnt there and it was late and we were getting all tired. I left. Now i want my refund.
Give me a break. With dudes going down left and right our defense was given it their all from the first whistle. If you walk out on the offense, which struggled no doubt, in spite of the defense then you walked out and left your kids behind to suffer.
Keep in mind that these players are dealing with Rick Smith as the GM. Impressive win, considering. Brock showed a lot of heart. Whatever you think of his QB skills, the guy has had a rough season and rough 3 quarters, then an awesome 4th. The throw to Fiedo was great.
Stayed til the end! Although if they hadn't scored on their second to last drive (the Miller TD) i was probably going to start and pack it up. Did the TV announcers comment on fans leaving?
