    I listen to this guy on biz radio. I am not enough of an economist to know how right or wrong he is but he makes some pretty interesting arguments and depending on my mood he tends to make pretty good sense.

    For the most part he says exactly opposite of TV analysts and newspaper columnists. He looks at the economy as a balance sheet and doesn't single out debt like most "doomsday" financial pundits will. He looks at public/private debt and government deficit spending as a percentage of the overall assets of the US and typically backs it up with historical data from the last 100 years. Just read through his september and october post and you will get some interesting perspective.
