check out Cassell. Since I got League Pass last year and this year, I make it a point to watch the Bucks, since they are exciting for the most part. One thing I've noticed the last 2 years is tha Cassell is atrocious on defense. He doesn't really have any defensive instincts, but the worst part is that he doesn't really try. He basically stands up and defends. He doesn't have a stance and doesn't bother to move his arms. The perfect example of Cassell's defense is tonight's Por game, when Stoudamire was wide open for a 3 off an in bounds pass. Maybe if Cassell had to double team someone and left Stoudamire open, that's one thing. But there's no excuse to leave Stoudamire wide open on an in-bounds with 3 seconds left. As Stoudamire is on the verge of canning the 3, Cassell has this really dumb look on his face as if he was wondering what was going on.
hee hee. True that. I still miss Sam ;(. I wish Francis could dime like that guy! Sam has G R E A T court vision. Some dumb turnovers, no d, mental lapses, ballsy shot...hmmn, sound familiar? Did we really trade this guy?
Do you mean that picture in the right column? http://www.nba.com/games/20020302/PORMIL/recap.html In the story, Stoudamire says he faked Cassell one way, Cassell bit and Damon went another way, that's why he's open.
Woofer-That's the one... I didn't watch the end live on TV, just saw the ESPN highlights. And wondered where the hell Cassell was. I guess at least he TRIED to guard Damon.
