For as long as I can remember I have been traveling in and outside the U.S. After I graduated from UH I started a consulting company and over past 2 and a half years I have gotten to know much of South America, mostly Colombia. When I first arrived I was content on just visiting, but I never set my mind on living here. However as more time passes I have integrated myself here, found my niche, friends, girlfriends and become happy visiting the United States every few months rather than the other way around. I could see myself living here if business continues to prosper they way it has.

Canada for me would be another good choice. Its like the U.S. but colder and more laid back. For all the bad rap Canadians get, all of the ones I have met have been pretty cool.

So Clutch family, if you had to leave your home country, where would you go and why?

I always want to live in Italy after I retired. Great foods and wines, beautiful women, relax environment and culture. It has to be good for your health.

    *rap

Years ago I'd have said New Zealand, but I think it's becoming way too popular.

Alaska sounds great. I could grow a beard down to my knees and yell at invisible children on my lawn....

I pick this country as well.

Beautiful countryside, zero crime, and cool accents.

I plan to spend my retirement years driving a tricked-out Peugeot taxi in Marseilles, France.

my international travel experience is limited to mexico, germany and the netherlands. ive been all over mexico though (moreso than the u.s. even) and there are definitely some cities there i could live in - mexico city, zacatecas, merida - but i really loved berlin when i visited there. definitely a place i would love to live. i was only planning on staying there for a couple days, but it was such a cool city that i spent a week and skipped my excursion to prague and munich.

amsterdam is pretty badass, but i dont know if i would want to live there - way too much temptation!

I wouldnt mind somewhere in Mexico, near a nice beach. There's lots of nice scenery down there, it's cheap, and just a short flight away from the US.

Well, America is really my home country, but technically I'm a dual citizen of the U.S. and Australia. So I don't know if it really counts, but... yeah, Australia is awesome. I love hiking, and you can't beat the hiking spots in Australia. Plus the people are just friendlier than they are here (seriously... the stereotype is true). Specifically I'd probably go with Adelaide, South Australia.
