It is because it is a state dominated by one party. So anyone the Republicans decide to run wins at the state level. That is starting to change but is still a problem.

Lying ted cruz of course unless this is some sort of a trick question. You should have added a few extra choices such as greg abbott, dan crenshaw, and looney louis gohmert. If those addition choices were added it would be tough to decide but I would probably still go with cruz because a) he is not from texas, b)he is the biggest hypocrite of the bunch, and c) he has his head a little further up trump's ass than the others.
