Its pretty close for me. I want them both gone but if we can rid of Mo's contract it would be nice. Besides Howard has altleast given us some production over the past week wheres Mo has done nothing for the past month.

    Oh i fergot

First of all let me start of by saying, both of these candidates are just as bad as the other. Nether one is superior in what they do & if it was up to me id trade em both. W/ that said i can only pick one...

    & the BIG winner is...

    MoT & his FAT contract!
    (thanks 4 playing)

I have to go against my man tinman- if only because Howard has a better contract and can at least get you SOME (not many) rebounds

...and he may have some trade value down the line)

Mo T (even last season when he was playing well) will never be worth $9 M per. - and he CANNOT get rebounds against anyone !

Howard and his LONG contract. If can move out Howard's contract then in by 2007 we will be done with both of them. But if we keep Howard, then he'll have to stick around until 2009. Ugh.

And since Mo's deal will be an expiring contract in 2006, we might be able to do a deal and trade for somebody useful from a team looking to dump salary.

Howard easily. Taylor’s contract is still moveable. In a season or two it’ll be an expiring contract that we can use in trade.

Howard’s contract is just way too long. 5 years left on a washed up has been. Who would have thought the guy would be able to get another bloated contract after his first bloated contract.

I have to agree. It is YEARS not dollars that is the killer. I think Howard is the more useful player. If money and years werent an issue I would rather have him. But Howard is on the books for more YEARS than Mo so I would rather keep Mo and move Howard. The sooner we get these long contracts off our books the better. Lengthy contracts make trading players very hard.

I would actually trade Howard if we had the chance. His contract is longer than Mo's and will really hurt us in three years. Taylor's really in a funk now, but we know that he's capable of putting things together and becoming a nice scorer off the bench. He just isn't a starter and should never be used as one.

see, in 3 years, 5 M per year will not be so bad (for a guy that used to be good) But $9M now (for a guy that has not proven he can play in the league) - is killer

Keep MoT, his contract is up in 2 years and is more tradable than Juwan. Nobody wants Howard with 5 years left on his contract.

Both of them suffer as a result of being on the same team. One hasta go.

    I say hasta la howard.

Howard's older and has six years on his deal. MoT has the potential to turn it around and perhaps be as good as he was last year, when he almost earned his money (the only year that has happened after he signed the big deal, though).

Howard, simply because he's older and got more years left on his contract.
