a statement i said to my father once...i'm not sure if he'd even remember it today, but it caused a fight back when i was in high school...it was an awful thing to say, and whether he remembers it or not it still bothers me that i said it.

making a post to get people to enter to win a Rockets Essay contest with 3rd prize as a Luxury Box suite so we all could have a party at the game. TroyBaros freaked and reported me as cheating, then lo' and behold....

my essay won, but under a different name. bastid. We had that box.

 

Anything in my life I'd want to take back isn't suited for a family friendly forum.

 

any thread i started that did NOT begin with "If the Rocket ........ were...... what would they be"

There are thousands of things that I wish I could take back on here, just because there are so many people who either don't understand sarcasm or don't let things go.

I'm really glad TheFreak and MadMax don't fit into that category.

 

I have no clue. I don't regret anything to the point that it bothers me constantly, but there are a couple things here and there that I regret.

 

There are times when the best thing to do is keep quiet. This is one of them.

Just a hint : Your woman does not REALLY want the truth. Esp. in an arguement. Oh, man.

Mine would be starting a poll on who thought Ming would defect once he got here. I said he would and I think the final results of the poll was like 100+ saying he would not defect to 3 saying he would. Worst poll ever.

 

Wow. Did that really happen? Who knows though. If she wasn't on American Idol, she might not of been such a big song. That moment like this song wouldn't be her hit song.

 

BTW, in real life, I won't reveal the one thing I could take back because I basically already did. However, it was the worst moment of my life and almost lost a couple of good friends because of it.

However, in real life, I'll go with telling the football coaches in Katy my sophomore year that I didn't want to play wide receiver. Dammit.

Also the time I went off on BGM, not realizing that it was kobeshaq or shaqkobe (it was the same person and a Laker troll) that I needed to go off on.

 

I would never have stopped playing baseball. I love playing, and I was awesome, but my grades got bad and my parents wouldn't let me play in 8th grade. Then I went to HS and didn't try out for the team. I probably would never have made it anywhere, but it would've been nice to see. I was a five-tool player up through 7th grade.

The other major thing I'd take back: When I was in sixth grade, a friend and I were out and about at this pond. We started throwing rocks at some young ducks, and I think I killed one. I don't know, but I still feel awfully about it, especially because I am such a huge proponent of animal rights and non-violence.

 

Yeah. That would still be pretty neat.

 

i don't take anything around here too seriously, so i'd say i wouldn't take anything back on the BBS...

as for real life, there are a few drunken nights in college I wish I could have totally avoided!
