Yes, it is another music thread by moi:rolleyes: :p

If your house is burning down, and you could only save 10 CDs, which ones would you save?

    Mine would be as follows:

    "Mezzanine" - Massive Attack
    "Animals" - Pink Floyd
    "Disintegration" - The Cure
    "Agaetis Byrjun" - Sigur Ros
    "Kid A" - Radiohead
"In a Silent Way" - Miles Davis
"The Ultimate Blue Train" - John Coltrane
"Song For My Father" - Horace Silver
    "Maiden Voyage" - Herbie Hancock
"A Tribute to Jack Johnson" - Miles Davis

Yes, that's right - Miles is so badass to me that he gets 2 CDs.

That leaves out so many though - all of my Led Zeppelin, all of Blondie, the rest of my Floyd and Cure, all of my Smiths, the rest of my Radiohead, all of my Smashing Pumpkins, all of my New Order and Joy Division, all of my Moby, all of my Dylan:( , all of my Peter Gabriel, the rest of my Massive Attack, the rest of my Coltrane and Miles as well as Herbie and Horace and all the rest of my jazz CDs.

You know what..... Just kill me Manny. Shoot me right in the head.

Better yet, take your 10 favorite CD's, and formulate a nice torturing device for me, perhaps one where the first 5 play at volume "11", while the other five slowly disembowel me.

    :p

I mean really Manny, what kind of a hypothetical question is this, if your house was burning down... wouldn't you think of other things than stupid CDs? And why 10? Couldn't you just as easily grab 12, or maybe even the whole ****ing rack?

I would probably save the 10 most irreplacable CDs I have- hard to finds, imports, out of prints, etc. Not sure what those are at the moment. Insurance should cover replacing the others.

I'm with TheFreak. I'd leave all my CDs, then get over $17 a piece to replace them all and make money out of the deal.

I'd save my Led Zeppelin boxed set simply because the packaging is all pretty and stuff, so it's probably worth more.
