I'm taking a short trip at the end of the month. Can't decide on the destination. Where would you go? Why? I'm going with my wife.

Seoul, South Korea looks like it would be a fun place to visit. I have never been there though so ask someone who knows.

Hong Kong or Singapore would be on my list. Cosmopolitan, enough english proficiency, and different things to eat and do, but they aren't "naturey" destinations.

I'd go to China to buy a bunch of Rockets players' basketball shoes. I'd buy some for myself and extras to sell on eBay.

    serious.

I'd maybe stop by the great wall & forbidden city.

Okay, I was kidding about Kazakhstan as a location in Asia.

I was caught up in the Heat of the Moment. Telling me what my heart meant. The heat of the moment showed in your eyes. And now you find yourself in '82. The disco hot spots hold no charm for you. You can concern yourself with bigger things. You catch a pearl and ride the dragon's wings. Cause it was the heat of the moment. The heat of the moment.

I am totally going to do that next time I am there.

Anyway it depends on what you are looking for. Like another poster said if you are looking for a place easy to get around with little or no language problems and modern amenities Singapore is the place with Hong Kong a close second. If you are looking for culture Beijing, Bangkok or Cambodia. If you are looking for beautiful beaches, Phuket, Bali, or the Philipines.

Actually Bali might be pretty good as there are beautiful beaches, a very unique culture and also a party scene.
