    It is not Webber....not Battier, but,,,

    Should we each save up this summer, send checks to Jeff/Clutch and be prepared to buy 300 tickets for the Washington Wizards sole game next year....the morning single-seats go on sale?

    Who would not fly however far needed, to spot Barkley/Jordan one more time at a cc.net gathering. Start saving up your vacation days now.

    It should be plenty of time before single game tickets go on sale for Jeff to organize something. But I still say if this becomes THE GAME, saving vacation time begins now, especially if it is early in the season.

    True.

    Does Jeff have the kind of pull to get a block set aside for that particular game the same day that single seat sales open? Seems like that game won't be a hard sell this year, so less reason for the Rockets to be accommodating to the CC membership.

    good question. This is why I say this is the biggest question to answer this summer.

    The Rockets will accommodate any group the same. I actually believe if Jordan and Barkley come back, the best way to deal with this is have money in hand, and have all 6 admins call in with an order of 50 apiece to obfuscate the fact it is us. I believe the way the last game turned out this year, with the Rocket's apparently not giving us any special accommodations, even though Jeff/Clutch sold over 250 tickets, that if anything, the Rockets might try to limit purchases for the Jordan game....since it will sale out regardless.

    To answer your question more directly, NBA schedules for the following year come out approximately in mid to late July, so about 3 months notice before single game tickets go on sale.

    I think it's a good idea. I'll fly out to Houston, but next time everybody crashes at my place in Washington DC! I think there are two or three of us in DC so we've already got a decent group for the game....and Jordan may be in it....
