Yes I am calling him the Turkish Nuke (cheap, coarse but highly lethal and effective). Thank you Scott Brooks for igniting him.

i personally like and enjoy asik dude can get offensive boards. i think josh smith and bynum as a back up is a better choice personally. with some veteran defensive presense that way our game wont slow down. we need to stay fast/3 point shooting team. bynum will love it here bc of ability of hitting three with out anyone saying anything to him

You have to trade him or Lin to get Howard. Just not enough minutes out there for Asik if you get Howard and they can't really play together. Much rather trade Lin but I don't think you'd have that choice unless something lucky happens like maybe trading Asik and Lin for a top PF even in a three way.

Don't even want to think about what can happen to Asik. I prefer him staying and improving instead of trying to deal with an unprofessional drama queen. I live in the LA area and most Lakers fans I run into hate him for his crap more than they like him for his skill. Matter of fact, some have even said they didn't get the Dwight they were expecting. So, for now, I say we should just enjoy the fortune we have because it is not guaranteed to be the same if we have to make this switch next season

Forget Howard. He's not capable of being a champion.

Keep Asik. Spend big FA money on either CP3 or J Smith and add a few quality reserves like Bynum, Tony Allen, etc

The same way that playing Greg Smith and Asik worked until Smith started fouling out too fast.

That's the best thing about getting Howard. We can trade Asik for a power forward. Imagine how good we'll be!

Don't want him AND howard clogging the lane. If you don't ship him out in a SnT beforehand you trade him for a stretch 4

Forget Howard, he's such a drama queen and has no heart.

    Please sign him immediately.

Trade him and Dmo for Ryan Anderson, Robin Lopez, and a high future 1st.

For even more cap space, trade Robinson for Jeff Taylor + Blazer's 1st from Bobcats

    Beverley/Lin
    Harden/Anderson
    Parsons/Delfino/Taylor
    Anderson/Jones/Smith
    Howard/Lopez

I agree. I just assumed that IF we were to persue Howard, Asik would be part of the sign-and-trade used to get him. I still think Howard is the superior player when healthy, but the 5 is not a point of weakness for us anymore.

Josh Smith just fits better. He can defend the perimiter, block shots, play both forward positions, run the floor, etc. If Beverly, Parsons, Smith, and Asik were on the court together, I dare say that would be an elite defensive lineup.
