If somehow we got Antonio Davis, would we try to resign MoTay or move AD to power foward and sign Dream. There is no way to keep both. I would like to get Dream back.

I'm kind of hesitant to throwaway Mo and sign Dream because we don't know how much Dream has left. He's 38 years old, he would help us for a year, but there aren't many young, talented PFs with room to grow.

You cannot sign both Davis and Hakeem, nor can you sign both Webber and Hakeem.

And like GATER said in the other Davis thread, "Please, no one try to tell me [ Sacramento or ] the Raptors want/need Cato (6M) or Walt(5M) in a S&T."

Davis has been playing center for a while now. He can legitimately play that position at 6'10". He isn't a typical center, but there aren't many of those left.

MadMax, look through the schedule & scores section of the Raptors past season (note January was askew w/ DNPs and an apparent injury that lingered).

Look and love, and ignore the statistics bashers. 14 rebounds, 16 rebounds, 12 rebounds... those are all GOOD REBOUNDS! [IMG]

Antonio Davis is about as big and as physical as Alonzo Mourning. He isn't as good an offensive player or defensive player as Zo, but he is still very good, and can play center.

And while AD might not be as good as 'Zo defensively, he's certainly a lot stronger, and a better option, than anythin else we have at C right now!

    Zo 6'10" 260lbs
    AD 6'9" 230lbs

Zo is quite a bit bulkier and an inch taller.
