Jazz 6th 28-20 lost 2 straight Suns 7th 29-21 won 3 straight Rockets 8th 26-21 Lakers 23-23, won the last 4 games Utah Jazz -Easy schedule For the month of feb, the toughest game for them is gonna be the lakers. They don't face any top 5 teams in the west or the east (except for the 76er's and the T-Wolves). Wolves - Easy shedule they face the Mavs and thats about it. After that, they play the bottom scrap teams (alot of them are home games too). Phoenix -somewhat easy schedule I think they'll win a majority of the games. the toughest teams they will face in feb are the Wolves, Celtics and the Rockets (all at the suns' home court). Lakers - Medium schedule They face the spurs and portland and detroit and they face the rockets. However, Kobe is on fire and Shaq is back to his old self. They won 4 straight to add fuel to the fire. Also, alot of their games for feb are home games. Rockets - pretty hard schedule @Utah, @Lakers, @Phoenix, Dallas, @Boston. @NY @Washington. If they don't shape up by tomorrow, they will not make the play offs. We better hope the Wolves, Jazz or the Suns mess up some how because the Lakers are in full steam. theres two weeks left to the trade deadline, and even with a miracle trade...I doubt it'd leave enough time for the chemistry to work out. WE've been hearing how the team has turned around. We've been surprised with the rapid development of our rookie. We've heard people choosing us as championship contenders. Now its the time to execute.
Dude, stop dreaming. The Rockets are not going to make the playoffs. Its all over. What have the Rockets done this year that makes you believe that they can handle that type of upcoming schedule? This is hopeless. Believing that the Rockets can make the playoffs is sort of like all of these people you see on the beach with the metal detectors searching for gold. The sooner you can accept the truth, the less the pain will be. I think we should stop these posts discussing playoff possibilities or scenarios. We can use the bandwidth to talk about possible stadium naming rights or something useful. I don't think Rudy will get fired or Cat will get traded. Les will give these guys one more year to turn it around. So Rudy and Cat aren't going anywhere for the next year. Enjoy!
I don't know about you guys, but I enjoy the journey itself as much as the view at the top. This loss is painful but it is no reason to give up now. We complain often that our boys don't hang in there till the end. Maybe we ought to heed our own advice sometimes.
