    Moss, would you do it?

Or would you rather have Oakland's 3rd round pick?

3rd round pick. Or a 6-pack of empty Diet Coke cans. Or the stomach flu.

Randy Moss is cancer, and a jackass.

They won't be able to get Moss or a 3rd. They will either cut Carr or get a 5th or 6th round pick now that he has to be traded.

If I was a betting man I would bet we get higher than a 5th round pick. I think we are looking at players or possibly a 3rd rounder. Maybe a 3 way with Green Bay where we send Oakland Carr, Moss goes to Green Bay and GB sends us their 3rd.

i think there is already a done deal out there, and they are just finalizing the details.

Smith said in the press conference when asked about Carr that he should be traded today, or tomorrow and he's working with his representatives on doing so. I don't think he makes that kind of statement without something already in the works, or close to completition.

wishful thinking? I hope we can get something for him.

I don't know. I think he's really tarnished his legacy the last couple years. I think he needs one or two more spectacular years to get in.

Let's hope that more than one team is interested or we might just have to let him walk.

you may be right, but my contention with the particular post is the guy has played at a hall of fame level, for at least 7 seasons at that. its not like he's never lived up to potential.

Your contention is accurate, but he lived up to his potential early in his career and not lately. Perhaps the surrounding cast played a part in that, but the Texans don't need the distraction of a guy who's proven his poor character (to say it mildly) as much or more so as he's proven his talent, IMO.

I'd like to see the Texans build a winning tradition without a-holes and prima donnas like Moss.

Yeah, but it didn't work so well for Minnesota. Or for the teams that signed TO--I mean I know Philly finally got to the 'Bowl, but it was in no way due to TO's help. He then single-handedly dismantled their next season.

I'd be happy with winning long-term, not selling out character and future stability for one year of *maybe* winning.

Does anyone honestly think we can get Randy Moss for David Carr? That's a playstation trade. I don't care what he does, give me Andre and moss any day of the week. There are very few qbs who wouldn't be at least pretty good with those two (and that's if they sucked ot begin with)

At first I was thinking,we'd end up with a 3rd....but I could see us ending up with Porter as our #2 wideout from this....not sure about what combo it would take.

I mean,he is a #1(in the whole draft) pick at QB who hasn't played behind an offensive line yet.
It wouldn't shock me to get a 2 if a player isn't included.

What do you see us getting for DC?
