He will also match Kobe's Laker 19 game win streak of 2000. But what makes this sweeter on a personal level for McGrady is that I wonder if Kobe did it with Shaq on ice for any good stretch back then (or vice versa). A winning streak like this with one franchise star leading the way is just awesome.

And I like how the detractors are saying the Rockets are winning against cupcakes but conveniently ignore the fact that the Rockets were supposed to be a cupcake themselves without Yao. But there have been tough opponents in that streak which the detractors still proffer, "yeah, but."

I love how in Lakers Ground, a Faker fan immediately put up in the NBA section how the Lakers would be the team to end the streak soon after the Rockets victory against the Hornets. And I posted, well, before that March 16 game, the Rockets have a chance to at least bust Kobe's streak by then. And that would put the Rockets in 3rd all-time with an opportunity to bust Milwaukee's 20 win streak to get to 2nd.

The Rockets just can't get credit.
