I'm starting to think the Rockets will keep him and his small contract so that they can have a little "Mo"(I couldn't resist!) money for the next free agent frenzy when his contract expires. I understand that he won't get many minutes and wouldn't add much to the available salary cap space, but there really isn't anyone available that would make a significant impact on the team this year. So, I think the Rocks should keep Drew and let his contract run out, sign a few of their own free agents to 1 year deals and play ball. The only way I'd trade him is if the Rocks got another draft pick in the upcoming draft. What does everyone think? ------------------ Don't you have anything better to do?
Send him to Detroit for some cash as a token of apperciation for nixing the original blockbuster deal. ------------------
I say ship him and the 4.5 mil exception to the Hornets and get Brad Miller who could be our backup 5 and 4 for years to come... We will need a backup C next year when Hakeem retires... We would be two deep at every position and only our SF spot would need and upgrade in the future, hopefully Rashard... ------------------ "The world is full of kings and queens who blind your eyes and steal your dreams. It´s Heaven and Hell!"
Dont you know that you cant post any topics on Drew or any other rocket. Its Mo DAY and its all about MO TAYLOR. So you can take this topic to the bbs hangout because we need only Mo Taylor topics. ------------------ "I talked about what degenerates they [Mets fans] were, and they proved me right. Just by saying something, I could make them mad enough to go home and slap their moms." John Rocker
That picture is a old picture of him, but dont worry he will shave and get a fade for his conference. ------------------ "I talked about what degenerates they [Mets fans] were, and they proved me right. Im with thanos, but if that doesnt happen i think keeping drew wont be that bad.As long as moochie is still the backup and drew on the end of the bench.Im sorry but the reason we drafted drew was for his ability to hit the 3 and hes just a average 3point shooter,if that.He doesnt even look comfotable bringing the ball up to half court,he makes me nervous.I was happy when we drafted drew but he just hasent worked out. ------------------
You want to basically pay a guy that will be a backup at best $4.5-5.5 million a season?!?! ------------------ Don't you have anything better to do?
Ship him and Lisa Malosky for Dee lynam an some cash. There is no way Bryce Drew is a Rocket this year. They invited a another point G to training camp who hardly got off the bench during the Revue. Thats cold-harded. Drews a swell guy too. Whats the deal with that, Pimp? ------------------
