If this continues and the Rockets do not make the playoffs, what happens with our draft pick? I know we gave it to Utah, but it was lottery protected right? Does that mean that if we don't make the playoffs, we keep the pick? Or does it mean, if we end up with a top three pick, we keep it? Or was it protected at all. Man, I hate wondering this. Also, can't remember if we traded our pick for Meech or for Padget? (Either way, CD you are a friggin Genius!)
IIRC the pick is not lotery protected, so if we are in the lotery we do not get t keep the pick. We better make the play offs. IIRC the trade was: Our pick + Rice for meech i'm getting old i forget everything
All the reports stated that it was "lottery-protected" ... though the lotto increased to 14 picks so I don't know if the language was top 13 or what. Hopefully not.
